Janet Yellen Warns on Economy

On Wednesday, Federal Reserve Bank Chairwoman Janet Yellen warned a House of Representatives committee about ″growing risks″ to the American economy. Today she will appear before a US Senate committee to further elaborate on these risks. Meanwhile, markets worldwide declined sharply. Yellen cited a global economic slowdown, primarily driven by slow growth in China and other nations, which in turn are depressing the oil market. Under normal conditions, cheap oil is a good thing, as it spurs consumers to have more disposable income, which then leads us to increased production and more hiring by employers. But things have not been normal since 2008. The ′New Normal′ in the Age of Obama is to get used to being poor, unemployed and miserable all the time!

Carly Fiorina, Chris Christie Dropping Out of Presidential Race

Tuesday′s New Hampshire primary results, along with last week′s Iowa Caucus outcome, did much more than hand Donald J Trump his first election win. They gave the 2016 presidential candidates a cold slap of REALITY! Yesterday, Carly Fiorina and Chris Christie finally faced that reality and are dropping out of the presidential race. Neither had any chance at being the GOP nominee from the very beginning. Fiorina couldn′t even win a senate race, let alone run companies like HP or Lucent very well. As for Christie, between ′Bridge-Gate′ and his Obama bromance, most Republicans were not going to support him. One wonders when Jim Gilmore will see the folly of his efforts? The next two victims of harsh reality may be Ben Carson and Hillary Rodham Clinton.

2016 New Hampshire Primary Results – How Trump, Sanders Won

Last night was a bad one for the Oligarchs. Donald J Trump and Bernie Sanders won HUGE victories over their competition! For Sanders, he closed a once 50-point gap in the polls, mainly due to carrying the Youth Vote as well as women of all ages, Independents and the Middle Class. Donald Trump took every Republican demographic and every issue over his many rivals. With 35% of the GOP vote, Trump ended the night double that of second-place finish of John Kasich. Triple that of Ted Cruz, Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio, where the difference between third and fifth place was barely 3,000 votes. There was a record turn out for both Republicans and Democrats in the 2016 New Hampshire primary, which already averages a much higher voter turn out than all other primary and caucus states. Chris Christie, who finished sixth with 8%, about 10,000 votes, went home to New Jersey to ″assess″ his campaign. Carly Fiorina followed with just 4% and Ben Carson with just 2%. Trump now leads the GOP field with 17 convention delegates to the 10 for Ted Cruz. But Hillary Clinton still leads Bernie Sanders with 44 to 36 delegates.

Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders Lead Polls for New Hampshire Primary 2016

The 2016 New Hampshire primary, the first primary in the nation, is taking place today. The latest polls show that Donald J Trump is still leading the pack of Republican Party candidates. Likewise, Bernie Sanders is out front of his only rival, Hillary Rodham Clinton. Hillary does not really need a win today, though a large defeat may hurt her down the road. There is already talk about a major shake up in her campaign staff as the nomination fight heads to Nevada and South Carolina. For the GOP hopefuls, Trump is still leading nationally and in every other state poll. So the two big questions for Republicans are, will Trump win by a large margin and how will the other candidates finish? Three small towns already voted after midnight. In Dixville Notch, Bernie Sanders won all four Democrat votes while the 5 Republican votes were split 3 for John Kasich and 2 for Donald Trump. Trump, Kasich and Marco Rubio are all tied currently with 9 votes each from those early ballots.

FBI Confirms Hillary Clinton Under Investigation

The Federal Bureau of Investigation confirmed Monday that Hillary Rodham Clinton is indeed under investigation for the mishandling of classified material on her private email server. This revelation, coming on the eve of the New Hampshire primary, flies in the face of the Clinton campaign ′spin′. The latest version of which is that the FBI is only investigating the matter as a general review of security classification issues. For months, the Clinton campaign has had to modify their story about this subject. Back in mid-March of 2015, when the public first learned that Hillary Clinton was using a private email server for both her work and personal messaging, she claimed that there were no classified documents at all on her server. Now that the number of classified documents is at around 1,364 or so, the prior ′spin′ was that Hillary never received nor sent any documents ″marked″ classified. But a potential smoking gun emerged last month when an email exchange was discovered between Hillary and a staffer with instructions on how to send her classified documents, by removing any markings from it first!

Will Young Women ‘Go To Hell’ If They Vote For Bernie Sanders?

You just know that Hillary Clinton is in deep trouble when she is forced to play the ′Sky-God′ card! At a rally in New Hampshire before tomorrows primary, Hillary supporter Madeleine Albright said the if young women do not vote for Clinton, they will go to a ″special place in Hell.″ Meanwhile, noted feminist Gloria Steinem says that young women are only campaigning for Bernie Sanders because they are looking for men. Hillary Rodham Clinton does appear to have a serious problem with the youth vote, a key demographic for Democrats. After the close shave in the Iowa Caucus, the national polls are showing Bernie Sanders closing in on Hillary Clinton. Prompting some old hands in the DNC to resurrect the ′Draft Joe Biden′ campaign. Has Hillary over stayed her welcome in politics?

New Hampshire Republican Debate – Christie Blasts Rubio, Trump Blasts Donor Class

The GOP debate in Manchester, New Hampshire yesterday could be described as the ′Night of the Governors′. Well, maybe two governors. John Kasich did well staying out of the wrestling matches while Chris Christie went all ′New Jersey′ over Senator Marco Rubio. Rubio got hammered so hard he became stuck on one talking point about Obama which he repeated four times in the space of about an hour. Twice during one exchange! Meanwhile, Jeb Bush needed help from Mommy as he tried to act less ′low energy′ during an exchange with Donald J Trump over eminent domain. Guac-Bowl Man repeated the same old lie Ted Cruz had been flinging about Trump, but the Donald nailed him over the difference between ′public′ and ′private′ construction. Apparently, Jeb Bush thinks that the private, Canadian company who wants to build the Keystone XL Pipeline is somehow a part of the United States federal government. Hmm? When the audience booed Trump for telling Jeb to ″shush″, The Donald fired back, informing the TV viewers that the audience was largely comprised of donors for the RNC and the other candidates.

ABC News will host the very first nationally televised GOP presidential debate for 2016 tonight at 8pm Eastern. Seven candidates will take the stage; Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Ben Carson, John Kasich, Chris Christie, and low-energy Jeb ′Exclamation Point′ Bush. Rand Paul did qualify but dropped out and for some reason, ABC is keeping Carly Fiorina from appearing. Maybe she gives them a headache? The other alleged candidate not invited is former Virginia Governor Jim Gilmore. The debate will take place in Manchester, New Hampshire, which holds it′s primary on Tuesday. The moderators will be David Muir and Martha Radditz.
