I am so not gay anymore. I am not going to walk around acting like I am gay when I am not. The government does not seem to want me to be gay. My gayness was never supposed to be linked to government. It was never supposed to be reliant on government. The way Americans pursue gayness is supposed to be up to the gay or not gay individual. I used to think that, back when I was gay, but the government said otherwise. Somehow I wrapped my head around that being ok.

My wife is not as gay as she used to be either, my children are increasingly less gay, and so are my parents, sibling, extended family and all of my friends. Even the ones I used to look at and remark along with others, that they would always be so much gayer than me and it wasn’t fair; across the board people are simply not as gay as they used to be. Some are not gay at all, still others have a little gay in them; but it seems to be fading.

Oddly enough, the only really gay people I see anywhere are in Government, they are the gayest group of American’s I have ever seen. They walk around gay as hell, everywhere they go it is all gay, gay, gay.

They are gayer than I was the day I turned 21 and my gay friends took me to a bar full of gay people and we all had a gay old time together.

They are gayer than I was when the day I got married. I remember how gay my father looked, when he shook my hand and wished my beautiful wife and I many gay years together.

They are gayer than my wife and I, were when our sons came into this world. I had so much hope for a gay world for them to grow up in, but that hope is vanishing.

They are gayer than how gay it used to make me to see all the gay children playing at the park with my gay children.

I have so many friends who used to be gay that have stories like this, now living a gay lifestyle no more.

I remember seeing my brother return from war. I remember how gay he looked to be home. I remember how gay we were to have him back. like the song says: “we’ll all be gay when “Johnny comes marching home”.

I thought the Government said that the freedoms that made us all so gay for so long had to be infringed for all good of all Americans. I thought we all had to sacrifice the ideals that led to so much gayness, for the common gayness. So why does the Government still get to be gay and I do not?

They said they were fighting for our gayness. They said we would all get to the gay promised land together. All we had to do was just bare being a little less gay, for a little while.

The government and their rich gay friends is the only place you can still find a lot of gay people. I don’t understand why. When the framers gay-fully declared America’s independence from tyranny, it was predicated on the assertion that the right to life liberty and the pursuit of gayness were unalienable rights.

I suppose all us ex-gays only have ourselves to blame. It was us who relinquished our right to determine our own gay destiny to government, who only pretend not to be gay as they soberly proclaim they are not any gayer than the rest of us. That is what they do when they are asking us for control over our lives in the name of freedom.

In retrospect, I suppose allowing them to pit us against one another about who we worship, who we love, where we go, what we read, who we associate with, what we talk about and decide with our doctors, wanting to protect ourselves from violent crime and so many other issues, was our fault. I suppose we should have realized that a government big enough to decide who should be gay and who should not, is big enough to keep all the gayness for themselves.

It is time we all, no matter what walk of life makes us gay to rise up together. We must declare to the Government, that we want to be as gay as they are. We have to let them know that their scare tactics will not work anymore, We have to tell them we have learned that America’s greatness is firmly rooted in the freedoms enumerated in the Constitution. That to guarantee the right to pursue our gayness, will no longer be deferred to them. This is America and even if we cannot all be gay with each other, we can sure try be gay for each other.

Conservative America has always been the guardian of individual liberty. We must not allow the left to distort the argument and national dialogue by plastering the media with falsehoods about where we stand as they did with women and abortion.

So there.
