What do Keith Olbermann and Rush Limbaugh have in common? Nothing! If Keith Olbermann fired from MSNBC were not bad enough, now he has been fired by Current TV. The network built by Al Gore and Joel Hyattt is replacing Olbermann with former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer. Unhappy by this, Keith Olbermann is using Twitter to vent his angst, claiming how he is being cheated out of some $50 million dollars of his contract. Current TV says that the reasons for Olbermann′s dismissal are breach of contract, sabotage and disparagement. That they are a company based on the values of respect. Olbermann was trouble from the outset, always complaining about his new work environment and chastising company executives. Rush Limbaugh laughed and joked about Keith Olbermann being fired, calling him an ″insane lunatic leftist.″
So Olbermann is gone and Limbaugh still survives. After a rough month facing all of the lunacy that followed Rush after his remarks about Georgetown University student, Sandra Fluke, Limbaugh is still on the air despite a concerted effort to boycott his show. Media Matters spent about $100,000 to target six major radio markets to intimidate stations to dump the Conservative talk show host. Rumors of mass defections of advertisers filled the news media, taking their talking points from Media Matters. But, their efforts have failed. Not only has Rush Limbaugh survived the attacks, he has an even larger audience now and looks forward to a brighter future.
So the difference between Keith Olbermann and Rush Limbaugh is that Rush is still around while Keith Olbermann was fired. Limbaugh is a true professional and Olbermann is not. We have seen now Keith Olbermann fired from both MSNBC and Current TV for essentially the same reasons, a lack of value of respect for others. He is a bombastic jerk who hates everybody around him. That hatred is why Al Gore and Joel Hyatt needed to get rid of Olbermann and replace him with everyone′s favorite former New York Governor, Eliot Spitzer, a,k.a. Client 9. Georgetown University student Sandra Fluke may be puzzled by Olbermann getting fired while Limbaugh thrives, but then she is as clueless as Keith is. Maybe she′ll appear before Congress to testify why Olbermann should get his own free TV network? Or at least some free contraceptives!

MSNBC’s smarmy liars, Al Sharpton, Ed Schultz, Rachel Maddow, Larry O’Donnell and Chris Matthews are easily just as obnoxious and just as slimy as Keith Olberman is/was. Only a fool or an imbecile or a psycho (or a psychotic, retarded fool) would believe the tripe that all of them spew. In my carefully considered opinion, all of them suffer from a mental illness indigenous to retards. But then, MSNBC has always reminded me of the movie, The Snake Pit.

Olbermann will be sorely missed! How so? He was so strident and over-the-top in his ultraliberal tirades, he made the liberals appear clownish even to fence-sitting “independents”. And for satirists like me (he is a key character in my political parody, “Caine’s Pestilence”), he was the PERFECT fodder. I hope he lands somewhere so I can continue to poke fun at him and use him to make political hay in the sequel.

Anybody remember Morton Downey Jr. ?
The Original Pablum Puker ?
Maybe he and Olbulbugger could team up and commandeer some 20 watt College Radio Station.
April 3rd, 2012 at 7:24 am
Sandra Fluke should sue him. I am not a lawyer, but from what I understand, Limbaugh made false or unfounded representations about her behavior, with the intent to slander her, on air, in front of millions of people. Limbaugh has about upteen million dollars, and he laughs every night before he goes to bed about how he has gotten filthy rich on the backs of all of his “ditto heads.”
Time to share some of the money with the ones he has hurt, seems to me. She ain’t no ditto head.
It has nothing to do with Olbermann, or anyone else, of course.
Just pointing that out.

Rachel Maddow, a liar?
That’s funny, Brian. And sad. You’ve obviously not watched her and don’t know anything about her.
April 3rd, 2012 at 12:09 pm
Of course shes a liar
Me just thinks you that butchy stuff.
“Her comment:
“Hosts on Fox raise money on the air for Republican candidates. They endorse them explicitly, they use their Fox News profile to headline fundraisers; heck, there are multiple people being paid by Fox News to essentially run for office as Republican candidates, If you count not just their hosts but their contributors, you are looking at a significant portion of the whole line up of Republican presidential contenders for 2012, they can do that because there is no rule against that as Fox, they run as a political operation, we’re not.”
B!tch has nothing but her opinion to back that up
April 3rd, 2012 at 12:12 pm
Klo, Fluke should have her pu$$y welded shut. No doubt. Would no doubt be non union welders
April 3rd, 2012 at 1:45 pm
Yes, ‘Me’, Rachel Maddow is a BIG LIAR! Not long ago MSNBC was running a promo commercial where she was comparing the current economic depression to the Great Depression. She stated that the difference between now and then is that the elderly are ‘doing just fine’ since they have Social Security.
So let’s see, the average retiree is getting what from Social Security? About $1100 to $1400 a month? If you are a single person, then you are still well below the poverty level. Depending where you live, you can barely pay rent, etc, with that.
Right, Rachel! Retirees are doing just fine thanks to Social Security. I suppose those folks who actually saved, invested in the private markets, have equity in their homes, they are just suckers. Social Security is more than enough to make life worth living, according to Rachel Maddow!

There ya go, Micky, or maybe super-glue an aspirin bottle to her knees?

“Hosts on Fox raise money on the air for Republican candidates. They endorse them explicitly, bias slant ?”
” they use their Fox News profile to headline fundraisers; heck, there are multiple people being paid by Fox News to essentially run for office as Republican candidates,”
WHO?
Once again, except for barry, they’re all reps.
” they use their Fox News profile to headline fundraisers; heck,”
Its called advertising. FOX even does commercials/promos for MSNBC !!!! I’m sure each ones dollar is as good as everyone elses.”
” there are multiple people being paid by Fox News to essentially run for office as Republican candidates,”
And you know this how ?

If the remaining cast at MSNBC consists of Maddow, Schultz, Matthews, and Sharpton and you’re on the outside looking in…
April 3rd, 2012 at 5:38 pm
Hey ! The bottom line is this.
When one news outlet has to advertise its news network on it competitions network they’re in about as fcked up a situation can be.
MSNBC doing their ads on FOX ?
Bwaaaaahahahahaha !
All I can say is, “Murdoch ! make sure the moneys not counterfeit !
April 3rd, 2012 at 9:18 pm
The “slut” and the “prostitute” is not Sandra Fluke; it is the woman that Rush Limbaugh is married to.
A traitor to her own sex, for mammon.
Mammoth mammon.
April 3rd, 2012 at 9:46 pm
Yes Klo, you are clearly not a lawyer. You don’t understand the difference between public and private people in defamation law. When she testified before Congress she became a public figure. For example, I can call Barack Obama a gay sissy, but I cannot claim that you are a gay sissy, just a sissy.

My insurance won’t pay for Viagra. But then again, I ain’t in the habit of taking a bottle of Viagra along with me to some island retreat, sans my wife, either.
Ah, the privilege of being a fat hog right wing conservative multi-millionaire hate monger.
April 3rd, 2012 at 9:50 pm
“Rush Limbaugh and his wife are divorcing and experts say this could get ugly. I’m confused, are they splitting up or having sex?”
Ha ha ha! Ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
April 3rd, 2012 at 9:53 pm
“What is it with Republicans and Viagra? First Bob Dole, he was doing the ads for Viagra. Now you got Rush Limbaugh. Say what you want about Bill Clinton, but the man was always there to answer the call, ladies and gentlemen.”
Ha ha ha!
Drum roll and cymbal crash.
April 4th, 2012 at 3:32 am
Anyone catch Olbermann on Letterman last night? What a pompous ass! “I’m like a $10 Million dollar chandelier in an unworthy home.” More like a $500 Lo-Flo Toilet that you have to flush 2-3 times.

Is Rick Santorum loopy?
To paraphrase him, he said yesterday that Republicans need a candidate different from Obama, not a candidate just like Obama, implying that while he, Santorum, is at the other end of the spectrum politically, Romney is just like Obama politically, the latter of which is perhaps somewhat true from a narrow perspective, but the former assertion of which is loopy, considering that, as I see it, Santorum is an empty suit just like Obama is/was, and the office of POTUS doesn’t provide on-the-job-training for novices.
Indeed, when you consider the issues of managerial, executive and leadership experience or the lack of them thereof, there are a HELLUVALOT more similarities between empty suita Santorum and Obama than there are between Romney and Obama.
BTW, Santorum said, also, that we don’t need a President with managerial experience. He said that because he is the only one of the Republican Candidates who doesn’t have ANY manageriall or executive or leadership experience – absolutely none whatsoever. (Never mind that that fraud’s history shows that he ain’t a Conservative either. Not by the wildest stretch of anyone’s imagination. He is another Arlen Spector, a two-faced liberal weeny in Mike Lee’s underwear.)
No offense. Those are just my personal opinions.
April 4th, 2012 at 4:44 am
Last night, Rick Santorum spoke to us from Mars.
True story. Honest injun. Why wasn’t I surprised. Why wasn’t my favorite, eccentric, little Martian, Ron Paul, at the mike with him?
April 4th, 2012 at 4:57 am
@ #5 – Sooo, because YOU said that I’ve never watched her and that I don’t know anything about her, that means that I’ve never watched her and that I don’t know anything about her, huh?
Bizarre rationale.
You aren’t even rational. Your screwy opinions are based ENTIRELY on your wishful thinking, on contrived, bogus BS, and on your screwy rationales which reinforce your screwy delusions.
April 4th, 2012 at 6:45 am
Say what you want, but Rush Limbaugh, he da man.
May I have a ditto or an amen here?
April 4th, 2012 at 9:33 am
Nah, Rush is kind of a blowhard and shallow thinker.
April 4th, 2012 at 9:48 am
LOL, yeah, right, Patrick. You said that tongue-in-cheek, right? If all Americans were as “shallow” as Rush is, old Mr. Magoo and the Bamster wouldn’t have been candidates in 2008. They would have been laughed off stages everywhere. Name one person, just one person who is more savvy about poitics than Limbaugh, Rove and Krauthammer are.
A blowhard? Not hardly. An entertainer? Yes.
Rush Limbaugh. (swoon) My hero.
April 4th, 2012 at 12:23 pm
Rush Limbaugh. (swoon) My hero.
That is an AMAZING statement.
