In one of those “imagine if Republicans dunnit” situations, the Lake County, Florida Democrat Party thought it would be a fantastic idea to create a new national flag. One with Obama’s what-me-worry face planted on it in place of the usual field of stars we are used to seeing on an American flag.
Unbelievable… and infuriating to local Lake County veterans who demanded that the Democrat Party take down the Obama flag.
“It’s absolutely disrespectful,” Jim Bradford, a 71-year-old veteran who participated in the Bay of Pigs Invasion told FoxNews.com. “It’s totally ridiculous. To put somebody’s picture there, to me, it’s a disgrace to do that.”
The Democrat spokeswoman’s comment was telling.
“I was surprised,” she said after taking down the flag. “No one had called us. We have a phone.”
Imagine that? So, the standard is now that you can do anything you want unless someone complains? That is how we want to go? We don’t want to do anything just because it’s the right thing to do?
The Party hack at the office fought against the veteran that went to demand they take down the altered U.S. flag (because it violates the flag code, he said) saying it was private property and she could do whatever she wanted.
NOW Democrats are worried about private property?
Anyway, the fact that these Democrat hacks didn’t understand immediately that putting Obama’s face on a U.S. flag was not only a violation of the flag codes (an honor system rule, not a law) but was actually offensive to most people, well it’s telling, indeed.

But, it is below Old Glory. I thought it was OK to fly another flag so long as the American Flag is the highest.
You might have a valid issue about altering the flag.
But…this is all bull crap, of course. Just some more bull crap that the right keeps coming up with. I don’t feel like wasting my time looking up the truth about it. You google it. I have gotten to the point that, anytime some right wing conservative says something, I just assume it is a lie, or a distortion, or misinformation, or whatever.
Seems to always be the case.

While I am no fan of Obama nor appreciate his likeness on the flag, I have to side with the Dems on this one. It is private property and there are many other flags that have images other than the 50 stars in the blue field. One of the more ‘popular’ of these, often seen at Occupy rallies, is one with corporate logos instead of stars.

They have a right to do it, and I have a right to be outraged. Just imagine putting a former Muslim who bows to foreign dictators on the American flag. OMG

BTW, Folks
Matt Taibbi, the Rolling Stone Creep that wrote that he was glad that Andrew Breitbart was dead, on the day he died, will be ass kissed by that Old Crudball with the Roadkill on his head, Old Lesbian Don Imus, at 6:00 am EST.
If you are so inclined, drop Imus a line at Fox Business dot com and tell him what a queef he is.

It is cool to alter the American flag in any way.
Gotta feel sorry for the poor lady who did this and then took it down after those old geezers confronted her. At least they didn’t bring their WWII or Korean guns with them. They would have probably been too rusty to use, anyway.

Sorry. I meant to say, it is NOT cool to alter the American flag in any way.

Klo, liberals drivel is the same forward and backwards.
I heard that Reggie Love had Obama on his flag pole.

They had only sold about 50 of the Obumbo Flags before this story aired.
Now, they are selling Petite Fours in Klo’s hood.
Good fer the economy, don’t cha know ?
Keepin’ all those Chinamen gainfully employed and off welfare.
Just think how Proud Michelle must be.
I’ll bet she does a right snappy salute.

Incidentally I read more than one posting that said they were “honoring” Brietbart’s memory by saying he was glad he was dead, in his own tradition of doing the same to others.
I believe Brietbart called Kennedy a “villian”, a “prick” a “duplicitous bastard” and a pile of human waste only hours after he did.
The difference between how some liberals ripped Breitbart was there was a kind of appropriateness to it, and usually done with a kind of gallows humor and even some degree of affection. But then, we each grieve in our own way.
WARNING: The above post contains nuance, shades of meaning, and subtleties that will fly over the head of conservatives and will not be well-digested following right wing consumption.

Don Imus, president of the Bea Arthur Fan Club, was last seen tying a dog to the roof of his car on his way to a Mitt Romney fund raiser.

Me what you read are lies. Then again, what you write are lies, so you have a whole package going there.
