Just when I start to wonder why I spend so much time blogging, something comes our way to remind me of how important our posts are, at least to a few very important folks. We try to be entertaining, funny, serious, informative, but most of all, true to our own beliefs.

Back on May 10, Joe Citizen did a great post on the world’s largest Razorback, in Iraq. A woman, Cathy (aka, “Sissy”), then posted to a soldier named “BJ,” her brother to come home safely.

Well, today a soldier named “Bryan,” (could it be BJ?) wrote back with the following exchange:

Cathy – great to have you visit us! We hope BG and all his buddies come back safe and sound, and a well-deserved rest after their distinguished service to our country.

Hey everyone!!! I am a crew chief for Det 1 C Co. 1/111th Med Avn, and I want to say thanks for the compliments and support that I have read on this site. We had no intention to mock the Muslim faith, it was to bring our team closer by supporting the state/team we love. Just a little thank you to all those HOG FANS back home for the support, and to remind you all that we can still call those HOGS from across the world. With that being said…PIG SOIEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

To Bryan and the Det. 1 C Co. 1/111th Med. Avn unit: thanks for all you do for your country and DO please come back home safely. I’m a Bearcats fan myself, but today, we’re all Razorbacks!
