On Wednesday, September 7, the next televised 2012 GOP Presidential debate will be held at the Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California. Naturally, Right Pundits will cover the affair with a live blog and live feed to stream live video (below). The action begins at 8pm EDT and will feature eight of the candidates. This debate will be the first for the new front runner, Rick Perry. Also attending will be Mitt Romney, Michele Bachmann, Ron Paul, Herman Cain, Newt Gingrich, Jon Huntsman and Rick Santorum. As you probably have heard, this was the debate that Barack Obama had intended to upstage with his jobs speech before a joint session of Congress, until Obama found out that he is not a supreme ruler.

This debate will be carried live by MSNBC and CNBC and feature Brian Williams of the NBC Nightly News, John Harris of Politico, and somebody from NBC′s Spanish network, Telemundo. The Reagan Foundation is also co-sponsoring the event, which will be held at the library′s Air Force One exhibit. Since this will be Rick Perry′s first debate, we can expect much of the questions and action centered around him. The economy will be the main topic, as usual, especially now after Friday′s awful jobs report for August, 2011.
