Earlier we reported that Vice President Joe Biden called the Tea Party folks “terrorists.” Biden has denied he said it, but even the left-wing media is satisfied that he did. Not a soul believes Joe’s denial. But the “terrorism” gaffe isn’t the only stupid comment Biden made this week. The question is, though, why does the media just laugh and let Joe Biden get away with it all the time?
The other stupid comment Joe Biden made was when he said that triumphant representative Gabrielle Giffords was a member of the “cracked head club” just like he was. What is wrong with this moron?
According to the Boston Globe Biden actually delivered that insensitive line right to Giffords herself.
“When I went up, she said, ‘Joe,” Biden recalled of his meeting with Giffords. “I said, ‘Now we’re both members of the Cracked Head Club.’ You know, I had two craniotomies. For real. They literally took the top of my head off. Twice. Now, the wags in Delaware, when the second operation occurred, wrote and said, ‘Well, it’s because they couldn’t find a brain the first time!’”
This man is just a loud-mouthed bore.
Years ago I was talking to someone in the Senate (I won’t say who) and they said that Joe Biden was considered the joke of the Senate. He was a clown that no one respected nor felt was an important vice in the upper chamber. Everyone just laughed at him.
Now, perhaps this bias, this feeling that he is really just a joke of a man is why the media does not treat him seriously when he disgorges so much stupidity out of his pie hole. It’s just “Joe being Joe,” apparently.
It most certainly was a different world when Dick Cheney was in office. The media was looking every day to “get” Cheney. They analyzed his every word looking for a way to attack him. But Joe? He is given a permanent pass.
It is most certainly a double standard that the left-wing, Old Media so constantly gives Joe Biden, the joke of Washington D.C., a pass.

The media always protect their own, at least until that person becomes too much of a liability. And Biden was elected when it was already known how dumb he was; he already has that covered.

Both needed to be addressed, to be sure, but to hold one hostage to achieve the other was sleazy politics.

For example, were you upset when he implied that the murdered kids in Norway were attending a “Hi**er youth camp?” That’s just one instance, of course. In fact, Dana Milbank at the Washington Post actually counted Beck’s Hi**er / N**i references back in July of 2010. The results: 202 mentions of N**is or N**ism, according to transcripts, 147 mentions of Hi**er, 193 mentions of fascism or fascist, and another 24 bonus mentions of Joseph Goebbels. And that was over a year ago!
Lewis Black once said that Beck makes more H**ler / N**i references than the History Channel. So I was just wondering if these references offend you?
