Since the RightLinx folks have mostly moved to this site, I thought it a good idea to start out on the right foot with a repeat of my favorite blogs. This is mostly a repeat of this post at RightLinx with one exciting blog added to the list.
1. The Hedgehog Report
David Wissing runs a great blog. Not only does The Hedgehog Report have the best collection of national polling data on the internet, but it also has a nice group of congenial, gabby patrons. Dave’s homey atmosphere accommodates a wide-variety of perspectives, which makes this a great place to make fun of the liberal regulars like Lisa, Tim, and Cory.
2. Outside the Beltway
James Joyner runs a great site. His sharp perspective and political instincts make him a must read each morning. Outside the Beltway also has a secret weapon, Rodney Dill, who runs two, count ‘em two caption contests each week. Trackbacks at OTB work automatically, something that is tremendously appreciated by smaller blogs like RightLinx.
3. Wizbang!
Kevin Alward’s site is one of the most popular conservative sites on the internet, and for good reason. Kevin also runs the most popular photo caption contest on the internet. All of the regulars “fired” by Polipundit earlier this year were picked up by Wizbang!. Wizbang’s separate political blog is new and growing, as is the entertainment blog. Trackbacks work sometimes, which is helpful considering Wizbang’s clout in the blogosphere.
4. The Crazy Rants of Samantha Burns
There is something about Samantha Burns. This is the place to go for the weird, the wacky, the humorous, and the wonderfully perverse. I mean, where else in the world could I legitimately trackback my post on pole dancing? Beware the dangerous “favorites” as there are a couple little bombs there that just ain’t safe for work. Shame on you! The moron of the week contest at The Crazy Rants of Samantha Burns is very cool.
5. Dr. Sanity
Pat Santy runs the Carnival of the Insanities, which is a must visit each Sunday when the strangest posts of the week are compiled there. More importantly, Dr. Sanity also offers well-framed, perceptive, articulate, stupendous, surprising, amazing conservative analysis on the issues of the day.
6. Cowboy Blob’s Saloon and Shooting Gallery
There is something about Cowboy Blob’s unabashed, primitive celebration of women that appeals to my deeply intellectual side. I’m searching for something else to say — but isn’t that enough? Oh, Cowboy Blob’s Saloon and Shooting Gallery celebrates guns too.
7. CG Politics
Before the last election, Corey provided daily analysis of every Senate and governor races at CG Politics. Corey’s tome also called every single House race in the country, and in hindsight he had a pretty good record doing it.
8. Woman Honor Thyself
I recently discovered Angel’s website which just means I’m slow — many, many people beat me to it. Like Mrs. McCain, the captivating Angel likes angels, and she likes pink — a whole lot of pink. Oh, Woman Honor Thyself likes Shakespearean English and dance too, which means that we can expect her crowd to join our Friday night dance parties on RightLinx. But don’t let all the pink fool you. Angel reserves a sharpened tongue for defenseless liberals and obtuse Democrats and is an exceptional writer. What a dangerous combo!
9. The Moderate Voice
Joe Gandelman runs an already influential and growing site called The Moderate Voice, which blends opinion across the great ideological divide in the blogosphere. He also personally handled a problem for us at RightLinx which left a nice impression.
10. The Bullwinkle Blog
Bullwinkle is our site sponsor who kindly invited me to join his team at RightLinx. Rocky and Bullwinkle was a great cartoon in my day so that is reason enough to visit. For me The Bullwinkle Blog is the place to go for the war on terror and related world events. The totally taken Bullwinklette runs the photo caption contest at The Bullwinkle Blog. And Maggie is pretty cool too. Who is that girl?

Thanks for the mention.
Once I start going back to political content in a couple weeks or so on my blog, I will be sure to give a very profound shoutout to Right Pundits and that way, the 8 people who know about my blog will be aware of this fine place.
For now though, I am just posting football picks.
