Former Tea Party favorite Christine O’Donnell is pondering an invite by ABC’s Dancing With The Stars. Taking to Facebook to announce the invitation, it looks like the former Senate hopeful may try to rumba her way into America’s hearts in the near future! Get the full story with photos and video below.
Made famous by her appearances on Bill Maher’s late-night talk show in the 90’s, the Tea Party loyalist cemented her connection to witchcraft with her now infamous “I’m not a witch” commercial. There’s little doubt that DWTS would take full advantage of this connection. Frankie’s “Witchcraft” would make a suitable dance tune.
“I just got the Official “Ask” from Dancing With The Stars!! Although I am utterly flattered, my initial thought was to decline, as 2 year old nephew has more rhythm than me, and my two left feet!!” After a landslide of replies, she added, “Thank you for your input. Still undecided. Book comes first.”
ABC casting executives didn’t confirm or deny a possible Christine O’Donnell appearance on Dancing With The Stars. But the high-profile recruit would no doubt be a huge draw for ABC’s flagship reality show. DWTS has struck gold in the past by casting well known women such as Kate Gosselin and Bristol Palin on the show. Others purported to be vying for a spot on this year’s broadcast include WWE wrestler Chris Jericho and NFL legend and recently embattled QB Brett Favre. One ABC executive was recently questioned by Pop Eater’s Rob Shute.
“Christine is not a bad idea at all,” he said. “After Kate Gosselin and Cloris Leachman, O’Donnell would fit right in. She certainly would be so controversial that the amount of press attention and buzz the show would get would be huge. Plus, you know they would make her dance in a witch’s hat with a broomstick.”

This is just getting ridiculous! Who next? Glenn Beck on DWTS? Here’s an idea for a Reality TV show…
Let’s put Gov. Scott Walker, AFL-CIO thug Richard Trumpka and the top Democrat senator from Wisconsin on Survivor: Redemption Island!

But if Beck were voted off it would a Soros conspiracy.

Politicians are the new celebrities, it seems. Or entertainers.

Last night’s Survivor was hilarious, especially the big bad federal ‘agent’ stalking the man-eating land-crab.
