Do my ears deceive me? Did Bill Maher really say something worth hearing? I do believe he did. Maher said he “doesn’t believe” Obama’s claim that he’s a Christian. He rightly points out that Obama is “pretending” to be a Christian for political gain.
While I rarely talk about religion, much less question people’s faith, the fact is, people know a phony when they see one — even Maher, apparently. Obama was indeed raised by a “secular humanist” and deeply admired her views.
Once you do the homework (i.e. read Dinesh D’Souza’a The Roots of Obama’s Rage, for example) and study Obama closely, it’s clear Obama’s no Christian. It’s not what he says or doesn’t say; it’s what he does and doesn’t do. That’s okay that he’s not a Christian — but it’s disingenuous for him to claim that he is.
If Bill Maher can see that, anyone can.

I know that Bill Mahrer is not a Christian, and I know that you think that Obama is lying about being a Christian, but what about you, Suzanne? You really do not say, in the above.

Its plausible to think hes full of it looking at his upbringing, role models, previously a Muslim, then dismisses Rev. Wright only due to controversy that could of cost him the election.
No, actually being a Christian has nothing to do with being a good president but being dishonest does.

Obama was Muslim by birth by Muslim tradition, born with a Muslim name.
His father may not of been a devout Muslim but thats irrelevant in the face of giving him a Muslim name and the fact that most Muslims see him as an apostate.
