Sarah Palin’s political action committee (SarahPAC) reported $1.3 million dollars to begin 2011. A New York Times report says that the PAC garnered most of it’s donations from small donors in amounts less than $200 dollars, showing that she still has a loyal following.

Liberal readers at Politico and elsewhere have wasted no time in trying to smear the accomplishments of Palin’s PAC. Here’s an interesting line from davemartin7777:

Sarah Palin’s career would be over in half an hour in a jumble of word salad gibberish were she ever to appear on “Meet the Press”, “Face the Nation” or “This Week.”

Palin also doesn’t have enough palms and Sharpies to appear in that press conference she’s never had since her 2008 nomination.

“Fox News: Sarah Palin is an idiot “

Thanks dave for the insight. Regardless of the continued disdain for this woman and everything she does, she remains a political force both financially and as an icon.

Those of us who follow politics know that the first order of business in politics is to raise money. Sarah Palin has done just that since leaving office in Alaska. While still having $1.3 million, SarahPAC has given to various campaigns which helped secure the Republican takeover in November. Even if she decides not to run for President, her PAC will undoubtedly remain a sore spot for democrats in future elections.
