Jared Loughner

Police have released a time line of the night previous to the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and those attending her rally. The gunman allegedly filled an entire film roll with shots of himself posing with his weaponry and dropped it off at Walgreens for development at 11:35 p.m. on January 7th.

Here is the rest of the timeline. At 12:29 a.m. he checked into a Motel 6, and returned to the Walgreens at 2:19 a.m. to pick up his women’s underwear photos. At 7 a.m he bought ammunition at a Super Wal-Mart. Then, between 7:30 and 9:40 he returned home to be confronted his father and the two got into verbal fight. At 9:40 a.m. he was picked up by a cab and dropped off at the shopping center at 9:54. Gabrielle Giffords was shot in the head at 10:10 a.m.

Three months prior to the incident, Jared Loughner made a video tour of his campus that showed he was already beginning to crack. In it, he calls the place a “genocide school” where students are “tortured.” Walking onto campus, he spots a man who he claims was his professor for his ‘Freedom of Speech’ class. He shouts “How’s it going?” Then interrupts the man’s reply with, “thanks for the B – I’m pissed off.”

“I lost my freedom of speech to that guy and … this is what happens. And I’m in a terrible place. This is the school that I go to. This is my genocide school, where I’m going to be homeless because of this school. I haven’t forgot the teacher that gave me the B for freedom of speech.”

Jared Loughner’s video was posted on YouTube on Sept. 23 and, combined with increasingly aggressive behavior, later led to his suspension from the school.
