Moving quickly into the realm of the flat-earth society, “Birthers” across the United States still believe the current Presidency is invalid because the President was really born in Kenya. Neil Abercrombie, the new Hawaiian governor and close friend to the President’s family and self-proclaimed Obama birth witness is hoping to put and end to the rumors once and for all. Exhaustive research has been done on the subject by many organizations, and evidence remains overwhelming that the President was born in Hawaii. Still there is one question that even the most diehard liberals cant seem to find an answer for: Why has the President still not released his full birth certificate?

Responding to the outlandish accusation early in his 2008 campaign, the former governor was quick to release his “short-form” birth certificate, which carries just as much legal weight as the long-form counterpart but not as much detail. The document confirmed his Hawaiian birth, but didn’t do much to quell hard-core proponents for the movement.

Still, for Neil Abercrombie, a possible Obama birth witness, the accusations are downright offensive.

“It’s an emotional insult. It is disrespectful to the president; it is disrespectful to the office,” he said of the controversy to the New York Times. “There’s no reason on earth to have the memory of his parents insulted by people whose motivation is solely political. … Let’s put this particular canard to rest.”

The newly elected 72-year-old Hawaiian governor says he was close friends with the President’s parents, and vowed recently to put and end to the conspiracy. He was, however, unclear about how would go about completing his mission. There is one definite solution to the Democrat’s problem, as clearly articulated by liberal MSNBC talk-show host Chris Matthews.

“I am not a birther, I am an enemy of the birthers,” he said on his show “Hardball.” But “why has the president himself not demanded that they put out the initial documents?”

No one with sane mind expects to find out the President was born in Kenya, even the self-proclaimed leader of the Birthers Andy Martin believes he was born in Hawaii. But, Martin does believe there is some embarrassing information on the long-form certificate that could explain why the President hasn’t released the document yet. What do you think of the conspiracy? If Neil Abercrombie really is an Obama birth witness, will his sworn statement do anything to silence the conspiracy-theorists?
