That didn’t take long. In an interview with ABC News, Vice President Joe Biden says gay marriage is inevitable. He says that the “evolution” in thinking that led to the repeal of DADT will most assuredly lead to Americans supporting gay marriage. Biden and Obama have both come out against gay marriage, instead opting for the more politically safe, civil unions.

The Security Council voted to restore Iraq's international standing by lifting sanctions including those that barred the country from obtaining major weapons and a civilian nuclear program. Not surprisingly Biden has it completely wrong. He says that changes in attitudes, or as he calls it, evolution in thinking by military leaders, service members, and the public led to Obama signing the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”

Actually what led to the repeal was a huge liberal majority in Congress and Obama in the White House; nothing more than that. Military leaders saw the writing on the wall, they have no choice but to follow orders and support policies handed down by Congress. The democrats pushed the repeal of DADT to eventually open the door for gay marriage. Biden let the cat out of the bag when he said gay marriage was inevitable now.

Others have speculated that DADT was just a precursor to a broader gay marriage fight to come. Joe Biden, who has never been able to keep things close to the vest, spilled the beans on ABC.

Along with saying that gay marriage is inevitable, Joe Biden also said that he and the President are evolving their thinking on the subject as well. This simply put means that Obama and Biden were being politically careful by supporting civil unions only. Now the door is open for them to start the process of coming out totally in favor of gay marriage. As if they weren’t already in favor of it. Here’s a special video for those who support the repeal.
