Bristol Palin vs Keith Olbermann? Yes, it’s true. These two juggernauts of the media are having at each other. This catfight began when Keith Olbermann lacks the good sense to put his insincerely incredulity in check and named Bristol Palin the ‘Worst Person in the World’. Oh, I forgot, it’s now called the “(Not Really) Worst Person in the World”, engaging in more insincere incredulity to Jon Stewart. The reason the MSNBC bully-boy named her such is because Bristol Palin face of abstinence in a TV ad for the Candies Foundation with ‘The Situation’ from MTV’s ‘Jersey Shore’. Both were guest stars of the popular series, ‘Dancing With The Stars’. Bristol Palin, daughter of Sarah Palin, on DWTS has already caused folks like Margaret CHO and Joy Behar to criticize her. With no place else to turn, Bristol Palin used Facebook to respond to Keith Olbermann and Margaret Cho.
Margaret Cho claims that mother Sarah Palin forced Bristol to appear on DWTS. Bristol slams back saying “No” on her Facebook page. “You say you ‘don’t agree with the family’s politics at all’ but I say, if you understood that commonsense conservative values support the right of individuals like you, like all of us, to live our lives with less government interference and more independence, you would embrace us faster than k.d. lang at an Indigo Girls concert.” Not sure about the last bit, but the rest of it sounds very bright of Bristol Palin.
As for Keith Olbermann, Bristol Palin calls him an “old canard”. Bristol adds that what Olbermann lacks in originality, he makes up for with “insincere incredulity”. Ouch! Poor, Keith! A 20 year old young lady has his number. But then, anybody who wants to compare the Bristol Palin biography with the Keith Olbermann biography may find that Keith Olbermann lacks credibility.
Keith Olbermann, who used to work for ESPN, was recently suspended by MSNBC for ethics violations in making and not reporting campaign contributions. How long will the Bristol Palin vs Keith Olbermann fight go on? The ball is in Olbermann’s court now. Given how poorly MSNBC’s ratings are, I’m sure he’ll stoop to a nightly trashing of a 20 year old young lady, a single mother at that, just to keep some attention on himself. His ‘insincere incredulity’ will morph into just plain mean spirited trash-talk. You’re not fooling anybody, Keith Olbermann! Maragret Cho may show more tact in backing down from her claim that Sarah Palin forced Bristol to do ‘Dancing With The Stars’.
