If you are one of the 6 or 7 people in America that are still waiting for hard evidence that proves the Iranian government is providing money, weapons, and expertise in the fine art of terrorism to the insurgents in Iraq, well wait no longer.

US forces discovered a large amount of Iranian currency and bomb-making materials in a raid that took place in Sadr City earlier today while searching 11 buildings suspected of being used by insurgents involved in the importation of Iranian weapons into Baghdad and southeastern Iraq. According to a report by an unnamed source in an article posted at Breitbart.com:

“As they continued to search the buildings, coalition forces found a large quantity of Iranian money, more than 6,000 dollars in US money and improvised explosive device-making materials.”

Meanwhile, off the coast of Iran, the U.S. Navy has moved two aircraft carriers and landing ships loaded with 17,000 U.S. Marines and sailors to carry out unannounced exercises in the Persian Gulf. This extraordinary show of force that consists of nine warships is being led by the aircraft carriers USS John C. Stennis and USS Nimitz, and includes the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard complete with its own strike group that includes several landing ships carrying members of the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit. Finally, the Iranian government seems to be determined to force a showdown with the civilized world by showing total disregard for the U.N. Security Council demands that the Ahmadinejad regime cease its uranium enrichment program. In fact, according to an article posted at FoxNews.com, IAEA experts say that the Iranian government continues to expand its uranium enrichment activities.
