Speaker of the House (for now) Nancy Pelosi says that democrats haven’t really received the credit for what they’ve done the last two years. In an interview with Politics Daily, Pelosi lamented the fact that “outside forces” have poured millions into campaigns and into the media to mischaracterize all the wonderful things she, Harry Reid and Barack Obama have accomplished.

WASHINGTON - SEPTEMBER 23: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi arrives at an event where she signed the Small Business Jobs Act at the U.S. Capitol on September 23, 2010 in Washington, DC. Today the House of Representatives passed the bill that will provide $12 billion in tax breaks and a $30 billion lending fund to small business enterprises. (Photo by Mark Wilson/Getty Images)

I have to disagree with Madam Speaker on this one. One week from tomorrow voters will prove to Nancy Pelosi that the Democrats did indeed get the credit for all they’ve done over the past two years. For the most part, voters are giving the democrats credit for Obamacare, budget deficits, unemployment, coming higher taxes, and a recession seemingly without end.

So don’t fret Madam Speaker. You’ll receive your just reward. Although Nancy Pelosi herself will win her reelection bid in San Francisco, Her speakership will be short lived, Harry Reid will likely be gone, and the Obama agenda will no longer have a rubber stamp.

All in all a pretty good deal if you ask me.
