As you may have guessed, the best viral political campaign ads of 2010 didn’t go global because they were effective; they did so because they’re hilarious. Get the top videos, and pictures of the offending politicians below!

Kicking it off, we have the little known Vermont independent, Dan Freilich. Once a respectable military medic, Freilich fell off his rocker when he made this commercial. Now known only as “Freilich on a Cow,” it’s not surprising that the Democratic hopeful only got 10.9% of the primary vote!

Don’t worry though, if that ad inspired you, word is that Dan is running as an independent for the Nov. 4 elections. Now on to someone more familiar. You can’t have the best viral political campaign ads of 2010 without the now famous Christine O’Donnell’s “I’m not a Witch” commercial. The spot, designed to introduce her to the public while resolving questions about her allegedly wiccan past was a huge failure. Instead, the commercial merely served to reinforce the association between O’Donnell and “Witch.”

Still, don’t knock O’Donnell too much. Despite the bad press, she managed to win her state’s primary and is now in contention for the upcoming mid-terms. Maybe any press is good press?

And now for something completely different: Carly Fiorina’s “Demon Sheep.” Taking what can only be described as a page out of the Monty Python book, the Republican nominee for the U.S. Senate race in California managed to win the Republican primary despite this advertising flub. Once a titan of industry at Hewlett-Packard, it’s obvious this commerce queen wasn’t in charge of advertising!

Well that’s our favorites from this election season! You can see more here. Do you have a video to add to our list? Let me know in the comment section!
