Based on inflation Social Security will get no COLA for 2011 according to the Obama Administration. The recipients 58 million of Social Security will get no cost of living increase for the second year in a row. Despite a cost of living adjustment inflation adopted 1975, and the fact that prices for everything from gasoline to bread has gone up in the past two years, senior citizens are left out in the cold again by Barack Obama and the Democrats. The average monthly Social Security payment for those who meet the eligibility requirements will remain stagnant, just as Obama keeps our economy stagnant.

MANCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM - MARCH 19: Senior citizens take part in a water colour painting session at The Retirement Show at Manchester Central on March 19, 2010 in Manchester, United Kingdom. As the UK gears up for one of the most hotly contested general elections in recent history it is expected that that the economy, immigration, the NHS and education are likely to form the basis of many of the debates. Although Obama had wide support from senior citizens in 2008, and received large sums of donations from groups like AARP, including during the health care reform debate, the Obama agenda has been to declare war on America’s elderly. The health care law is to be funded largely by reducing Medicare benefits currently enjoyed by seniors. The financial reforms and Obama’s drive to allow the Bush Tax Cuts to expire will also impact senior citizens more than others.

Why? Because that’s where the money is! The Baby Boomers born after World War Two have lived and worked during the most prosperous time in American history. They’ve enjoyed the benefits of this period and control a large portion of the nation’s wealth and assets. This makes them a fattened cow ready to be devoured by Obama and Democrats seeking to expand the welfare state.

Obama has made no bones about how he feels in regards to restricting health care to the elderly. Under Obama Care, there will be more scrutiny as to who receives medicine and medical procedures. Emphasis will shift to younger people, as they will make up the taxpaying workforce needed to fund the Nanny State. On April 12, 2010, Congressional Budget Office head Douglas Elmendorf wrote at the CBO’s website, “is unclear whether such a reduction (in rate of growth of Medicare costs) can be achieved, and, if so, whether it would be through greater efficiencies in the delivery of health care or through reductions in access to care or the quality of care.” And who can forget when Obama himself talked about letting grandma die rather than pay for an operation.
