Move over Ed Rendell, somebody else is taking up the sword of dignity. Yes, Rosie O’Donnell is now slamming Obama for his appearance on ‘The View’. On Radio Rosie Obama ‘The View’ appearance is “fluff” she says. Rosie ought to know, being a former cohost of the ABC daytime gab-fest.
Rosie says Obama on ‘The View’ should never had happened. She told her audience on her Sirius satellite radio show that she has “mixed feelings”. Obama appeared on ‘The View’ twice before and Rosie doesn’t think “sitting presidents should do fluffy daytime TV shows.”
Not everyone agrees. White House press secretary, Robert Gibbs, is one among them. He believes Obama should appear where ever there are people to reach. “We made a decision to put the president on Jay Leno, David Letterman, ‘The View’, because that’s where — people have busy lives and it’s best to go where they are. And I think that’s what the president will do.”
Well, Gibby, Obama’s already done it. He taped today’s episode yesterday. During which, Obama apparently admits he does not watch ‘Jersey Shore’ and has no idea who Snooki is. Well, there’s something that we needed to know from our president. I suppose it’s better than more fluff from him about how hard he is working to create jobs.
Rosie does congratulate ‘The View’ for a “good booking”, but thinks they should have gone for Oprah instead. Rosie Obama ‘The View’ appearance today was a bad call. She has mixed feelings and gives it a thumbs down.

I’m really surprised that she didn’t make a “gay issue” out of it like she does everything regardless the subject. Rosie stands for everything “I hate in a man.”
July 29th, 2010 at 4:34 am
I didn’t think I would ever agree with Rosie on anything (although I do like and enjoy her sense of humor very much.) The President of the United States has no business on ANY SHOW like the View. He is not a movie star, I don’t believe his ratings will improve for having been a guest on the View, and it’s just in poor taste. He needs to spend his time searching for solutions to all of our problems and learning to listen to the people who were ignorant enough to elect him. He may have made a great President in 10-15 years, but he sure has made a mess of our beloved country. Please get busy and extend W’s tax breaks, and manup and quit blaming everything on George W. Bush. You’ve already spent more than he did his whole eight years on laws the people do NOT want and the country DOES NOT NEED. You are dividing us instead of uniting us. Please, it’s not too late to turn things around.

She carried out a serious relationship with a man in her late twenties to early thirties–something she has openly said was enjoyable; hardly, the man-hating feminist-dyke picture you’ve painted.
Maybe she is a bit of a pill — but you are just a queer hatin’ red neck
And yea, I made it a “gay issue”
July 29th, 2010 at 4:36 am
I totally agree with Rosie and I’m glad she spoke out. Go Rosie!!
July 29th, 2010 at 4:57 am

July 29th, 2010 at 5:02 am

July 29th, 2010 at 5:22 am
Rosie looks like a gay pig.
July 29th, 2010 at 5:28 am
Do we really care if Rosie approves of the President being on the View???? If he wants to go on there.. let him.. if you don’t want to watch it dont.. Problem solved….
July 29th, 2010 at 5:33 am
and Katherine take a chill pill… the president is doing fine… oh and just a note . the country was in a Gigantic mess BEFORE he got in.. we were almost in a depression.. Remember? there’s no easy simple fix it quick answers.. I think hes doing a good job, even with all the hate mongering petty, lies and deceit that he’s had to put up with..and I take offense at statement like yours…I voted for him and do NOT consider myself ignorant!

July 29th, 2010 at 5:44 am
is there anyone who really gives a rats’ behind what rosie thinks about anything? or for that matter, where the president appears on tv?
July 29th, 2010 at 5:45 am
I started watching the View after Rosie left – so you can imagine what I think of her and her opinion. This sounds like sour grapes to me. Had SHE interviewed the President, it would have been GRAND. Now that she’s gone, the program is “fluff.” Bye Rosie!! (And Dear, you really ought to get some more becoming photos done………your bulldog look is as becoming as your personality.
July 29th, 2010 at 5:46 am
I am old enough that I think the President on the view or any other entertainment medium is undignified. But then, the ‘legitimate’ news media is now mostly entertainment news…sad.
July 29th, 2010 at 5:52 am
Dave, take a chill pill yourself. The state of the nation’s economy rests firmly on the shoulders of the democrats. Obama has taken a bas situation and made it worse. You may not consider yourself ignorant because you voted for him but you are alone in that opinion.
Not to worry FREEDOM is coming back and the dems can’t stop it.

Amen, Kevin!
Remember in November!

Just another hopeful nail in Obamas coffin, and this is Par for the Course, proving once again, that all Obama is is a talking head. I’m sure the View let Obama borrow several of their teleprompters and only previously approved questions were asked. Not watching the show, or ever do, but wondering how Elizabeth, will be able to stand it?

“but you are just a queer hatin’ red neck
And yea, I made it a “gay issue””
Good, then we’ll just make you an idiot issue
July 29th, 2010 at 6:14 am
” do NOT consider myself ignorant!”
Why would you ?
July 29th, 2010 at 7:17 am
I find it very nice to know that everything in this country is running so well and all the problems are solved! Which allowes the President the time to be able to appear on TV as often as he does.

Katharine Pasch:
You’re a moron, and it’s because of ignorant incompetents such as you, who voted for W., that this country IS IN THE MESS IT’S IN. It has nothing to do with ‘BLAMING’, it has to do with RESEARCHING THE SOURCE OF OUR ECONOMIC ILLS…AND WE NEED LOOK NO FURTHER THAN JANUARY 2001, WHEN THE COWBOY TOOK OVER, AND DIDN’T KNOW WHAT TO DO ABOUT ANYTHING, UNTIL HE WAS HANDED THE GIFT OF 9/11 AND HUGE DEFENSE EXPENDITURES…EXPENDITURES MADE BY SUCKING UP OUR HUGH BUDGET SURPLUS AND DRIVING US INTO A TRILLION DOLLAR DEFICIT.
July 29th, 2010 at 7:32 am
PATRICE
THIS ASS OF A PRESIDENT HAS SPENT MORE SINCE BEING IN OFFICE THAN BUSH DID IN 8 YEARS AND THAT DOES NOT INCLUDE HEALTH CARE. THE HOUSEING BUBBLE IS DO TO BARNEY FRANK AND FREDDIE AND FANNIE. YOU THE THE FACTS RIGHT YOU MORON. I GUESS YOU FEEL THAT 3000 AMERICANS DEAD ON 9/11 SHOULD NOT BE FOUGHT AGAINST. REMEMBER NO OTHER ATTACKS ON US AFTER BUSH TOOK CONTROL. AND REMEMBER IDIOT CLINTON WAS THE ONE THAT WANTED EVERYONE TO HAVE A HOME NO MATTER IF THEY CAN AFFORD IT OR NOT SO STOP BLAMING BUSH FOR THE HOUSING MESS THAT THE DEMS CREATED AND ARE TRYING THE PAWN OFF TO BUSH. YOU GET THE FACTS RIGHT BEFORE YOU ACCUSE BUT THAT IS RIGHT THAT IS HOW THE DEMS AND LEFT DO THINGS. LIE LIE LIE LIE
July 29th, 2010 at 7:33 am
@ Patrice.
You talk about research and yet you’re one of the more clueless.
Research dictates that Clintons dereliction of duty was mostly responsible for 911
research also dictates that Clinton did in fact tell the entire country Saddam had WMDs and research most definately shows that Bush tried to warn this congress that the housing bubble created by Carters CRA, bolstered by Clinton, wined and dined bt F&F, Frank, Dodd, Schumer, and Obama is what would be our economic downfall if not dealt with right away.
“Ignorant incompetence” would fall on the a$$hat in office and those that voted for him spending triple in 18 months what Bush spent in 8 years…
and having nothing but worse to show for it
July 29th, 2010 at 7:44 am
Just remember, the current congress, Democratic control, took over in 2006. Things started to tank pretty quickly after they started forcing the issues that were rapidly going bad. You can’t blame Bush for a democratic controlled congress. Having Obama in there was just icing on the cake to these folks that don’t have any fiscal responsibility.
