Last Friday’s episode of the “Glenn Beck Show” had our favorite Fox News host sounding like Howard Beale. In particular when Glenn said that the Financial Reform Act was the last nail in the coffin of the Republic, I could almost hear Beck say “Woe is us that Edward Ruddy died!” But after what must have been a good weekend, Glenn returned to the airways sounding more like Howard Roark.
Glenn Beck turned up the heat on the Progressives, showing clips from this weekend’s NetRoots Nation 2010 convention in Las Vegas. It seems that they were all in a lather because Glenn has been busy exposing their agenda, schemes and methods. Some of the leaders told the crowd that they had Beck inside their heads all day long. Trying to figure out how to counter the Fox News personality.
But Glenn told his audience that he doesn’t think about them at all, just as Howard Roark, from Ayn Rand’s “The Fountainhead” never gave a thought to Ellsworth Toohey. Beck even echoed Roark’s courtroom speech, describing the conflict between individual liberty and the collective as an ancient one, and indeed it is.
The Progressives, Reformers and other Collectivists whom desire to enslave us all have been around since ancient times. Why, I’m sure there was even a Jeremiah Wright back in Ancient Greece. He probably spoke at the temple shouting “NO, NO, NO! NOT ATHENA BLESS ATHENS! ATHENA DAMN ATHENS!!! AND THEN CAME THE PELOPONNESIAN WAR! AND THE CHICKENS…, COME HOME TO ROOST!”
Yes, it is a struggle that has been around for as long as man has walked the Earth. Again on today’s show, just as he did on Friday, Glenn encouraged us not to be frustrated, not to despair. We are winning! The weekend NetRoots Nation conference proved it. The Progressives are fearful, and will adjust their scheming even more so.
We must be vigilant and stay the course! They may try to infiltrate Tea Party and 9/12 groups, just as the website Crash The Tea Party suggests. I hope that we will not need to use biorhythmic techniques like those for finding androids in “Blade Runner”. Can you image what the questions would be to uncover the Progressives?
“You are walking alone in the desert. You come across a copy of the Constitution. It’s lying upside down.” Or how about, “You see George Soros spinning a large spider web of Progressive organizations in your backyard. Thousands of tiny social activists are hatched. George Soros eats them all.” Or maybe my favorite, “Bill Clinton sees a picture of a beautiful, young woman in a men’s magazine. He likes it so much, he hangs it over Hillary’s bed.”
Luckily, we will not need such extreme measures to find the Progressives. They will show themselves at some point. We should not worry if Glenn Beck talks like Howard Beale from time to time. Sooner than later, he’ll return to Howard Roark. Just be thankful Glenn Beck isn’t like Howard Dean, who himself is like Howard the Duck. Trapped in a world he didn’t create. Just as all Progressives are, which is why they are out to destroy it!

I just watched Blade Runner again last night. Spooky. Good V-K questions. Only wish it was easy as hiring a prog runner. Howard the Duck was the only movie I have ever walked out on for being really lame. Astute analogy to Howard the F***.

There’s plenty of mirth in the whole V-K testing concept. I did tone down some of my more provocative suggestions.

Ginnie, Fox already has two ‘right-wing’ Toohey’s, Hannity and Huckabee. Or as I like to call them, Slantity and Huckleberry.

The Progressives should worry about Glenn Beck.
He is exposing who they are. Progressives know most Americans do not want to live under their thumb. Progressives need to get a life of their own but they cannot because they are parasites and they have and want to keep the average private sector American to be their permanent host until they destroy the host. They are a cancer that has to be stopped and that is what Glenn Beck is doing.
