Jane Fonda is co-hosting a fundraising event today to benefit California Barbara Boxer’s re-election bid against Carly Fiorina. The event even has a title, ‘Keep Change Alive’, according to an article in The Hill today. Fonda will be joined by two other personalities, Tobey (Spiderman?) Maguire and Alyssa (Poison Ivy 2) Milano in promoting Boxer’s campaign.
Republicans are countering by asking demonstrators to show up with American flags and have signs protesting Barbara ‘Don’t Call Me Ma’am’ Boxer. As we would recall, last year at a senatorial hearing, Brigadier General Michael Walsh referred to male senators as sir; when he referred to Boxer as ma’am, she took offense and chastised him, telling Walsh to refer to her as Senator Boxer.
The California Senate race is very close. Recent polls have Boxer slightly ahead, but within the margin of error against Fiorina. Many political observers, including this one, eagerly anticipate the first debate between these two less than affable candidates. It should be reminiscent of the Thrilla in Manila, where both pugilists were exhausted by the numerous body blows thrown throughout the match.

I agree, and nothing says change like “out with the old and in with the new.”
Alyssa Milano, huh?? Why are all those Hollywood lookers empty from the neck up?

Lovely. I didn’t know Hanoi had returned stateside–I assumed (wishful thinking) she had stayed where she thought it was so much better.
Maybe she madam babs should return to the promised land.
That seems like an awful lot of ugly for one room.

I agree with Larry.
Anyone willing to be swayed by anything Traitor Jane says needs their head examined.
I will never forgive the Boxer broad for insulting any military man.
She is only free to run her obnoxious mouth because of men like the good General and the rest of our troops.

Awww, no way ? Alyssa ?
It’ll never be the same again.
My heart just dropped out my butt.
But hey, if I were a moonbat I’d be a little upset that Boxer couldnt at least bring in Springsteen or someone. I mean C’mon, Babs, and Jane ?
I thought the only people that listened to Babs anymore were old Jewish widows in the Bronx.
Well, she does sell well in S.F.

During the Vietnam War era, Jane Fonda inspired me to come up with the following one-liner which the big paper in Kansas City ran as a short letter to the editor: “I’m not Fonda Jane; her Laosy remarks Hanoi me!” Jon

Maybe the voters ought to take a look at how Jane’s SE Asian advocacy worked out for the people.
