As promised earlier, here are the remaining dance videos from week 9 of Dancing with the Stars.
Surprising to most people who will read this, our clever prediction model now says that Emmitt and Cheryl are the frontrunners to win the season, so remember where you read it and don’t be surprised if it happens next week. We will make a final prediction next week, and we haven’t been wrong yet.

Dance the Tango in Week 9
“Mario and Karina”
Mario and Karina are superior dances and would win the competition if it were strictly up to the judges. Mario Lopez and Karin Smirnoff have sexual energy, excitement, and stage heat. We expect they will move into the finals and are safe. However, as we noted last week, our model is detecting fan strength is wavering for Mario and Karina. The may have peaked too early. If for some reason Joey and Edyta survive to the finals, it is Mario Lopez and Karina who will go home tonight. Again, we don’t expect that to happen.
Dance the Waltz in Week 8
“Emmitt and Cheryl”
Cheryl and Emmitt are good and everyone is noticing. Cheryl won it all last year with a better partner. We commented about Cheryl’s dresses yesterday. Our scientific prediction model says that Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke are now favored to win Dancing with the Stars. Clearly they will move on to the finals.

“Joey and Edyta”
Edyta Sliwinska is fantastic. If you missed it, we already posted a comprehensive tribute to Edyta in our archives, including photos, dances, and biography. We’re sorry to say this is Edyta and Joey’s final week. The predictive model indicates that they will be cut.
