On the debate over the Canadian government’s G8 maternal and child health initiative, Hillary Clinton has told Canadians she doesn’t think governments should intervene in personal decisions such as reproductive health. In pushing the abortion agenda, she says,

“You cannot have maternal health without reproductive health. And reproductive health includes contraception and family planning and access to legal, safe abortion,” she told reporters when asked about Canada’s G8 initiative. I do not think governments should be involved in making these decisions.”

But of course Clinton thinks government should be involved. That’s precisely what she’s arguing for: making abortion available and at the taxpayers’ expense. That IS involvement. She should just say, “I think government should be involved by providing women the means to have an abortion.”

That would at least be more honest.
