Are you just aching to see Tiger Woods new Nike commercial? The video is coming out so tell us what you think of putting Tiger Woods back to work. The king of shanks and woodies is back!
Apparently Woods is fully recovered from an undisclosed addiction which may have produced a miraculous cure after just a few days in a treatment center. It is widely assumed that he was being clinically treated for acute sexual addiction to everything from his gabillion mistresses to the 18th hole at Pebble Beach.
So the king of golf is back which gives Nike a new opportunity to seize upon the publicity. They are one of the holdout advertisers who decided not to dump him when his manly fortitude was revealed to the tabloids by a litany of cocktail waitresses, hookers, porn stars, and your sister.
The new ad will reportedly feature Tiger Woods in his own backyard. Hopefully he will not be ducking from rocks hurled over the fence by grumpy neighbors and mistresses alike.
Not that I am one to begrudge a man his bread but isn’t it a little soon for a cure? Or does it matter as long as he can golf? He is a sports star after all and perhaps nobody should expect them to be more than cads.
Clearly in the Obama recession we need Tiger Woods paying his fair share of taxes. His endorsement deals are mostly canceled so the federal government is losing millions of dollars to pay for free health care for millionaires like Tiger Woods. Might as well put him to work and collect what we can before he retires early from exhaustion.
So now see an old Nike ad below and tell us what you think of the world’s best golfer. Note that Tiger Woods new Nike commercial has not been released so you cannot see that video yet.

Of course we need him very much to play the golf. Anything Ernie Els can do, TWs can do it better. Go Tiger!!! Who cares about his personal life unless we are desperate about our lives. Who knows what everybody is doing right now?
March 29th, 2010 at 1:05 pm
Well, no way will I buy anything with Nike on it. It is about time we held people accountable to some decency…who cares if he can push a ball around with a stick?
March 29th, 2010 at 2:36 pm
I’ve seen this before – who’s the dork?!
March 29th, 2010 at 3:01 pm
Whoever wrote this has a serious problem of either envy or regret. This is about the same caliber as all the girls coming out saying they were mistresses. Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear. Now we have Jesse James and all the girls coming out for that one. Why don’t we prosecute all these girls as hookers?
March 29th, 2010 at 3:11 pm
I can’t understand how being a remrkable golfer and, by the way, a tremendous humanitarian, automatically assigns the responsibility of being a moral example for the world. If that was a true pre-requisite of any star athlete, would they sign up?
I don’t want my kids to seek moral leaders from sports……I’d like to think we can find better choices out there. In the meantime, can’t we just enjoy watching sports, routing for our favorites, and not give a s**t about what they do later that night? Is that not possible?
I don’t care if he relapses, wins all four majors, and has a four way with his wife, two p0rnstars, and a horse……..as long as it’s enjoyable to watch him play and he continues to add a major level of competitiveness and excitement to the great sport of golf.
March 29th, 2010 at 3:19 pm
And by the way, John Daly was involved in areas approaching “illegal”, and he in no way received this kind of invasive crap……the media is really desperate. Focus on what matters. You think Arnie and Jack even considered having to deal with this? No….because reporters actually “reported” relevant news. Now, the media is one big glorified version of the “E” Channel. It’s simply pathetic.
March 29th, 2010 at 4:04 pm
I don’t know what all the reaction is about. So a man cheated on his wife. that’s his deal. Everyone thought he was a golf role model not a life role model so when his golf sucks then jump him. As far as I know he can still do what made him relevant. We as society need to stop looking into other people’s personal life. His sponsors didn’t go to him because he had a good family life, he could golf so they gave him money. that’s what it’s all about, and guarenteed they will want back in when he wins. by the way, i don’t condone, just think its his business, not ours
March 29th, 2010 at 4:05 pm
Woods shold be banned from golf for life. He committed morally depraved acts including adultery and soliciting prostitution. I thought these companies had morals clauses. Guess that only applies to childen of a lesser god. This guy Cheetah Woods is a sociopath who should take his billion dollars and get out of the spotlight.
March 29th, 2010 at 4:29 pm
I like to watch Tiger play,he’s the best.We all should keep our noses out of his personel business.
I truly enjoy the sport.

I will not, to this day, buy anything with Nike on it and never will!

I think Tiger and Nike are a disgrace. They belong together, both money hungry. I will never in my lifetime buy anything with Nike, Converse, Cole Haan or anything they own for myself or my family. I think the CEO of Nike is star struck, certainly not a man with family values. I hope Elin got a good deal in writing, she will need it because TW will NEVER change. He is a control freak who is power hungry.
March 29th, 2010 at 4:55 pm
As if he ever owed an apology to any of you “holier than thou” hypocrites. As long as Elin is ok, I am. As if any of you could stand up to the scrutiny that Tiger stands up to every day. We all have skeletons in our closets. Except no one cares about ours. BTW…tiger has never tried to be one of us like Brett Favre or Dale Earnhardt does. Look at his sponsors, Breitling watches, Buick, American Express. He says, “I am above you, come up and join me”. Right or wrong, he not trying to be a role model, Parents should be that!
March 29th, 2010 at 5:13 pm
He was a Total Roll Model for so many Millions
of Kids.Do you really think he is anymore?????
He will not win the masters EVER AGAIN!!!!
March 29th, 2010 at 5:31 pm
Wow!! It amazes me how the “right” continues to plod along and continually spread hate and lies to feed your ego under the shroud of your false prophets. The “Obama recession,” as you call it is clearly the debt created by our former “first chimp in charge” and his puppetmaster Mr Grumblepants Cheney. Keep on believing and see where it gets you, you are all sheep who believe in a work of fiction changed thousands of times over the years to benefit anyone who believed they were able to take advantage of people. Try belief in things that exist and maybe the science which keeps us all alive. The biggest human killer throughout history is religious conflicts–FACT.. Just stop lying and admit you are conservative to keep your money and stop all of the religious fronts,we all know it’s the real truth.
March 29th, 2010 at 5:36 pm
Everyone wants something to talk about, someone like Tiger is fair game. I would really like for people to stop throwing stones at this man. I sure can’t and if you feel you can I would like to see you walk on water. I know you can’t so keep your mightier than thou to yourself. He is the one who has to answer for what he’s done or hasn’t done in his life. Live yours and enjoy watching a great golfer that is human.

I believe Nike has made its decision. A decision that MARRIAGE VOWS MEAN NOTHING. I will never buy or wear another Nike item.
I hope the money they lose, let’s them know that women everywhere have made their own decision not to support them.
Stop buying Nike until they grow some moral values!
March 29th, 2010 at 6:43 pm
GOOOOOOO TIGER !!!!
Let those among you free of sin cast the first stone….. you are all hypocrits….
GOOOOOOO TIGER…Win the Masters !!!!
March 29th, 2010 at 6:54 pm
Just mind your business and personal life if you hate Tiger Woods as a great golfer or are jealous of him being the great golfer and millionaire…..Saying something so bad about someone means you are plain loosers…..who knows what you did last yestderday, last night or are doing now…LOL!!
March 29th, 2010 at 6:55 pm
Freaking idiots…I’ll never buy Nike again…WAAAAAAWAAAAAAAWAAAAAAA ! As if you could fit your fat ass into anything they have. Stephanie you ought to Thank All mighty go that incest is legal where you live. What’s that…your son needs you ….

Did the person who wrote this article never have ANY indiscrections. Have you lived the perfect spotless life. You’ve stuck your claws into Tiger, Nike and you’ve manage to The President part of the problem too. Wow you are one disgrutled person. Beware of your glass house. We all need forgivness at the end of the day and your are no exception to this either!
March 29th, 2010 at 7:21 pm
The person who wrote this is very sick. Get help. You need it more than any one else. If the camera could turn on you I wonder how many time you have cheated…. on your boyfriend. Moral indignation is so hypocytical. You all need to get a life man!!! I can’t wait to see Tiger back on the course. All real golfers welcome him back. The rest of you ……take a hike!!!!
March 29th, 2010 at 7:22 pm
Tiger deserves no forgiveness from any of us.
After that what he does with his life after this point….
who gives a fck.
March 29th, 2010 at 7:34 pm
Whatever Tiger did or did not do, get over it, Get a life, as the saying goes. It is between Tiger and his wife and Tiger and the Lord, and beyond that it really isn’t anyone’s business.
The only reason it got some much publicity is because of who he is. There is plenty of men and woman who would love to do what he has done, if they would admit it.
Welcome Back Tiger you are the best there ever was.
March 29th, 2010 at 7:35 pm
Who ever expected a pro athlete to be a roll model? We sub for jocks. We use such as parents, saints, relatives. As for the rest, why does Nike have to make moral judgments about their flacks? After all, don’t they use child slave 3rd-world labor?
March 29th, 2010 at 7:38 pm
One last word. Let’s just watch Tiger play golf, get off his back. That is what it is all about isn’t it. I love the game, and do not think there will ever be another one like Tiger. Here is to many, many more great wins.
March 29th, 2010 at 8:15 pm
Tiger is still great at his game….he should paste a picture of every mistress’ face on a golf ball and knock the hell out of it on his way to a historical win at the Masters…. now, how is that for a little disclosure!
March 29th, 2010 at 9:45 pm
First of all I don’t honestly believe for a minute that his wife knew nothing of his affairs. Especially if he had that many of them. Secondly, Nike is going to survive no matter if a few people who now dislike them for keeping Tiger Woods on for a sponser. Be real. A sports figure. Do you people not have higher standards? Look in your own back yards at your childrens teachers, the parents of your childrens friends. Those are the people you should really be concerned about. Tiger Woods will never be your neighbor so his business is none of yours.
March 29th, 2010 at 10:59 pm
Forget the golf the only thing I see is
“Cool Clothes” especially the shirt..”Cool

What Tiger does in his personal life is his concern. He is the one that has to answer for it. I am surprised no one has mentioned the children, his and Elin’s. They are who are important in this. They did not choose to be brought into all this, nor can they make a decision to walk away. It is between Tiger and Elin to determine what is best for the children.
As far as Golf is concerned, Tiger playing will increase the revenue of the PGA. It is a proven fact that viewership is always much higher if he is in the hunt for the win on Saturday and Sunday. He is a tremendous golfer and nothing can take that away.
As far as his sponsors. They make the decision on if to pay him to advertise their product or not. That is their decision. It is your freedom to buy their products or not. One thing I will guarantee you, they would not sponsor him if they were loosing money on the deal.
Lastly, about role models. You can use this how ever you want. On the one hand, look what hard work can get you as far as athletics is concerned. On the other hand, this is an example of what you do not want to do. It is our role as parents to educate our children in everything in life, both good and bad. Eventually they will leave our nest and make decisions for themselves. We can only hope we did all we could to prepare them for that moment.
March 30th, 2010 at 8:05 pm
Tiger is a great golfer, however he is also an A–hole when it comes to his treatment of fans and course demeanor. The PGA needs his draw but I do not miss him the least.
March 30th, 2010 at 8:16 pm
Geo.
What did he do to his fans ?
I could care less about the guy but if he hurt anyone it was certainly his loved ones.
His fans dont give a sht what he does as long as he makes in the hole.
“whoo, boo hoo, I cant get a box of Wheaties with Tigers pic on it, oh the tyranny !”
March 30th, 2010 at 10:40 pm
Clearly whoever wrote this article is a right twat! Preaching moral ethics n cant even see how your own article is biased with your own selfish opinions. Dont you ascribe to professional code of journalism? Tiger is a great golger. Fact. He pulls in the crown n ratings. fact. Nike is a business that needs to realise a profit, just like any other. They made a smart move by sticking with him and the results are already showing they made the right bet. Golf suffered without tiger.. ratings went down so its a good thing he is back. Plus he brings so much joy and pleasure..watching him play with gusto and how he celebrates. Truth be said golf is alot better with tiger back. And for the self proclaimed moralists… yes i will buy more Nike products, heck i will even buy new nike running shoes even if the ad showed tiger running on nikeys as he is chased down the street by elin. who cares! Thats his personal life n we all got our dirty linen too!
March 30th, 2010 at 10:50 pm
I was never a woods fan. I just didn’t care. I thought he was being pushed on us as someone othere than he really was and way overpaid for simply playing golf. He struck me as a media creation and I guess they built an industry around him. That he turned out less than a saint is no surprise. His holier than thou approach to his image and private life was offensive to me as he is so controlling. So I am not buying him now either.
