Today, a man named Joseph Andrew Stack killed himself by flying a single prop plane into an office building in Austin, TX. His name is all over the news, and understandably so. The building that he crashed into housed the IRS and had 190 employees. In his planning to kill himself, he left a suicide note. This note has been removed from the Internet, but we have it here for you to view within an article from Renovo Media. It had originally been posted on Embedded Art. In this note, you will notice the words of a man who hated the IRS deeply.
This afternoon, there was a Facebook page with Joseph’s name on it, and it gave the distinct impression of him being a TEA Party-type, citing Ron Paul and using the Gadsden Flag as the FB icon. It would appear he was nothing more than a right-wing extremist who had an axe to really grind with the IRS. Please notice I said, “it would appear.”
The nagging question is, however, who created this Facebook page for Joseph Andrew Stack? The answer: a woman named Emily Walters. However, the FB page in question has been removed due to the sensitive nature of this morning’s event. The link to see it, that I have set here, is from Bungalow Bill’s Conservative Wisdom.
Who is Emily Walters, and why would she create a Facebook page for a dead man? It seems suspiciously convenient for her to place several TEA Party-ish and right-wing links and articles onto that FB page, now doesn’t it? It is suspiciously convenient that the media has already started to paint a picture of Joseph Andrew Stack being a fringe right-winger whose hatred for government, and the IRS specifically, drove him to kill himself and try to kill IRS employees in Austin.
Hating the IRS is not an issue that can be solely claimed by the left or the right, or pinned onto the left or the right exclusively. People from all “political stripes” don’t really care for the IRS. There is more to this story than we are seeing.
Again, who is Emily Walters and when will she be questioned as to how she put Joseph’s Facebook page together? There are questions that are not being asked, and it’s time we started.
UPDATE:
After some extensive searching, I found this statement from Emily Walters:
There is even a Facebook group now called, “Joseph Andrew Stack.” Facebook took it down once. Its creator put it up again, writing,
“This is Emily Walters. We were the original ones who started this group. It grew to about 300 members and was deleted. They deleted my profile also. This is my boyfriends profile he made just to put it back on there because its sad when you don’t have the right to freedom of speech or expression anymore.”

I’ve been cruising the blogs and theres definately a bunch of lefties saying some pretty outrageous crap.
I will not dignify them with links but will post some of the more ridiculous statements.
==================================================
“This is a right-wing domestic terror act. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY – THIS SHOULD CONCERN YOU!”
————————————-
“Looks like one of the Teabaggers woke up on the wrong side of the bed. LOL. You nuts better not start doing this regularly.”
————————————-
“Not a single one of you is concerned that one of your own just committed an act of domestic terror. You are already attacking the messenger and they have not even brought the message in yet.”
————————————-
“YOU need to take an ounce of responsibility. All you repubbers are complaining about Bush but still putting all the blame for Bush’s errors on Obama or “The Government”. This plane guy decided to attack the Government. Pilot-guy sounds like a thousand posts I have read on thee boards.”
————————————-
“His “manifesto” is rank and file conservative/tea party/ repub rhetoric. I’ve read the same thing on these since before Obama was inaugurated. That dude would fit right in here, and maybe he did.”
————————————-
February 18th, 2010 at 4:37 pm
His manifesto is on The Smoking gun. I like the threat from some lefty..”You nuts better not start doing this regularly.” He probably doesn’t realize the crazy right wingers have all the guns.
February 18th, 2010 at 4:58 pm
Josephs manifesto contains some sections that lend to socialism, communism, as much as capitalism and a lot of contrived ramblings that will only be figured out after we here more from close friends and relatives.
Until then, get ready for this to be one of the top Tea Party attack talking points.
Its all so predictable, who’ll be first in the MSM to hint or suggest at the connestion ?
Will it be Olberman ? Maddow ? Joy Behar ? Stewart ?
Place your bets

I think Miss Emily is just out for her 15 minutes of shame.

The tea party people flocked to that site and immediately started spreading hate. Whether or not this is a conspiracy theory as your article suggest, the fact that over 140 people all started posting hate messages and tea party rhetoric tell you what kind of people that ignorant cult is about.
Whatever the intentions, it attracted the tea party apologists and they got a chance to show their true colors.

Donald – Great Post and Great Questions! and you know what, Ken – I bet it comes out that Emily Walters is a little radical left Ellie Light trying to stir up lies.
Sane people do not fly planes into buildings and one person does not define millions of others, unless you would like me to define YOU based on the murderous spree of far lefty & Obama worshipper, Amy Bishop.
More to come … I am sure.

Donald,
Yet ANOTHER facebook page has been put up in it’s place and it’s pretty much exactly the same. Same Jefferson quote, same Gadsden flag logo. This one was put up by a “Mike Woodham”.
Here’s the link:

@Powers,
Yep, as the day progresses, and I’m sure well into tomorrow, Americans will feel the need to spawn hatred and vitriol.
It’s nothing but a game to these morons. As long as they can attempt to take the steam outta the TEA Party movement or Conservatism in general, they will try.
Nice catch, by the way! Long Live the Republic.

February 18th, 2010 at 11:03 pm
That manifesto was creepy. Micky you’re right on, it sounded like the ramblings of a man bent towards socialism and a basic somebody owes me something mentality.
Kind of like Barry O.

Good News is that I have spoken to three leaders of the Tea Party Movement in Austin area tonight. They have all unequivocally denounced Stack’s actions and confirmed that he was not ever a member of any of the Tea Party groups in that area. Getting the post up now with their official statements.
This was a disturbed man with an horrific agenda. The Left should be ashamed to use this for political potshots. Pure Alinsky tactics.
February 19th, 2010 at 2:22 am
Why does one man’s views or actions have to be categorized into a political viewpoint to you people? How about we call it what it was; a man was upset with the IRS, and acted accordingly. I think it’s sad that we allow the MSM to pin it on the tea partiers, but that’s how the establishment has always treated us. Anytime there is any real movement organized by the people, the government and media swoops in to wreck all credibility, this is not a new tactic. As long as you sit here and all agree that he was a madman and not a patriot, nothing will ever change in this country. Try reading it all before you chalk it up to “ramblings” of a communist. Funny you use that word since that’s the exact word the media has brainwashed you to use all day while covering this story. I’m guessing you still believe 9/11 was pulled off by 19 Muslims.
February 19th, 2010 at 2:25 am
“Try reading it all before you chalk it up to “ramblings” of a communist.”
well for one thing the tea partiers are not communists
however, the more wealth the federal government wishes to take from those who earn it, the more force they will have to use
i predict this will not be the last violent act against the irs
February 19th, 2010 at 2:34 am
He wasn’t supporting giving money to the IRS, I think he was pretty set against it, hence why he flew a plane into the IRS’ offices. Which leads me to believe he is the exact opposite of a socialist or communist. But i guess that goes against your parties talking points. He was probably a libertarian such as myself LOL, oh damn now I’m gonna be on a watch list.
This is my problem with ALL people that call themselves republicans or democrats. Everything to you people has to be so black and white. It’s this “you’re with us or against us” attitude, when the overwhelming majority of us are independents that hate what corporations and our government get away with. It’s has nothing to do with right vs left. It’s the extremely rich vs the rest of us. The sooner we all figure that out and stop with this 2 party “ramblings”, the sooner we can fix our country.
February 19th, 2010 at 2:55 am
actually his manifesto is quite clear on hatred of business and his admiration of communism … he just felt that he was one of those people that should be receiving according to his needs from other people’s abilities
that is basically the definition of a dem
February 19th, 2010 at 3:36 am
Hatred of business? He was a business owner!!! Please state “in his words” where he describes his hatred for business and his admiration of communism? Quit making it about ideology, because it’s not. This was one man upset with the IRS that took his frustrations out on the government agency that made his life miserable. Thanks again for the reminder of why I left the republican party. Are you paid to just spout talking points without thought? If so I hope you are paid well Lisa. Try engaging your brain and quit listening to what the main stream media tells you think.
February 19th, 2010 at 6:54 am
Bawwww, now you are keeping me from posting all-together?
I’m telling you guys – force users to register because this is just too easy (and fun I might add). Next time I’m going to be more of a subtle PITA.
February 19th, 2010 at 6:56 am
At any rate, Brent – quit being a tool. The government didn’t fly planes into the building. How could such a large conspiracy go under-wraps without anybody coming out?

Excellent article, Donald! Naturally, the Leftist Media was going to connect this nutcase with the Tea Party. I saw Chris Matthews trot out a creep from the Southern Poverty Law Center. GRRR!
It’s not surprising that the Far Left bloggers were going to set up a scam webpage to paint this guy as a right-wing extremist. They have way too much time and hate at hand.
February 19th, 2010 at 9:34 am
Scott;
“Why does one man’s views or actions have to be categorized into a political viewpoint to you people?”
Cuz thats what we do here. It would be awfully boring if a site titled “Right Pundits” didnt have postings attributing peoples action to their political affiliations.
In this case you’ll see an excercise in rational that will apply to vindictive contemptuous liberals, disgusted conservatives and then those who understand but dont condone hurting innocents to make a point.
Kay ?

Scott…have you read his manifesto? He rants against GM, insurers, Big Pharm, etc etc. The word crony used several times.
Look the guy made bad business decisions, messed up, and never did his taxes. Then bi*ches about it and decided to enact revenge. Card carrying victim.
February 20th, 2010 at 5:37 am
Why isn’t this being called a Homicide Bombing? I remember that term being used often to describe terrorists who kill themselves and their targets.
February 22nd, 2010 at 8:49 am
Sorry to disappoint the Lefties, but Joe Stacks was one of your own.
He was very anti-Bush, was an anti-Capitalist, and quoted Karl Marx favorably.
Oh, and he’s now a domestic terrorist. Had he survived, he could be the next Bill Ayers.
February 24th, 2010 at 9:37 am
I wish there was a plane flown into every office they have and two 747’s into the main office. Time to take our country back. It is almost too late. I would side with the muslim terrorist if they took out every IRS office on the planet. I am ready for a civil war, just waiting for our commander.
