I had a sneaking suspicion that I wasn’t finished writing about this guy. With one wacked out statement by former Governor Rod Blagojevich, “I’m blacker than Obama,” he catapults his way back onto the political scene. But then again, that was probably his intention all along.

Besides being certifiably insane, are democrat voters just stupid or what? Some of these characters that they’ve put in office in various positions all over the country absolutely astound me. The depths of the stupidity of otherwise seemingly normal individuals, continues to amaze.

First we have the brilliance of Harry Reid on display with his racist comments, and now Rod Blagojevich, I’m blacker than Obama; trying I guess to make sure that people never forget just how ignorant the man is. Although it’s surprising that the governor of the state of the President-elect who was busted for trying to sell that Senate seat would find it necessary to top that bit of idiocy. But he’s trying.

Blagojevich was being interviewed by Esquire Magazine [I guess Esquire is hard up for stories these days] when he decided to “metaphorically” say to the reporter that he [Blagojevich] is blacker than Obama. Isn’t it odd that the only people who have ever questioned the authenticity of Barack Obama’s blackness are liberal democrats? Sometimes you actually feel sorry for Barack Obama. Think about how many nincompoops he has to keep track of up to and including the Vice-President of the United States. Throw in Senate Majority leader and former Governor of his home state and he could stay busy just trying to keep up with their brilliance. Here’s his statement that will appear in Esquire via Fox News:

In the article, Blagojevich refers to the president as “this guy,” and says Obama was elected based simply on hope.

“What the (expletive)? Everything he’s saying’s on the teleprompter,” Blagojevich told the magazine for a story that hits newsstands Jan. 19.

“I’m blacker than Barack Obama. I shined shoes. I grew up in a five-room apartment. My father had a little laundromat in a black community not far from where we lived,” Blagojevich said. “I saw it all growing up.”

So let me iron this out just a tad. Everything Obama says is off of the prompter, he never really gave anyone any reason to elect him except for his empty promise of hope and he’s not really the most authentic black guy you’ll find out there. Okay, that about covers it.

As for the statement by Rod Blagojevich, “I’m blacker than Barack Obama,” he went through the usual apology where he stated that if he hurt anyone, anyone at all he was deeply and profoundly sorry blah, blah, blah. He said it was a stupid metaphor and that he didn’t even really believe it when he said it. So basically that’s all you have to do when you say something hurtful and stupid; just admit that it was stupid, say you’re sorry and that you didn’t really mean it. Seems to be working for Blago and Reid right now. WARNING: After you watch the video below, you may indeed feel stupid.
