Some places have betting on pretty much everything under the sun. I thought it might be interesting to see what the current odds are on who will win the Republican Presidential nomination in 3 years. Remember this is only an exhibition, this is not a competition. Please, no wagering.
I’ll only list the frontrunners and their odds:
Romney 3-1
Barbour 4-1
Gingrich 5-1
Palin 5-1
Boehner 8-1
Pawlenty 10-1
Huckabee 10-1
A few long shots I think have a reasonable chance are Petraeus (20-1), Jeb Bush (20-1), and George Allen (33-1).

what is Cantor’s claim to fame? He looks like he wants to take things from us, not give.

personally, I believe right now that the only way palin doesnt get the nomination is if she chooses not to run. Just pretend that half the people who have been waiting for hours to see her agree to work in her behalf. She’d have an army out there. The only other potential candidate who could get a lot of volunteers is mitt, and he can’t get the nomination, since he’d kill the solid south, I think.
Besides, how could she be debated? If anyone said anything sort of mean, they’d look like a bully. Hillary tried all campaign to get obama to fall into that trap. So sarah would just follow the same playbook that she used against biden effectively.

Brian:
The Founding Fathers wouldn’t of done what they did if it was only to benefit themselves. They were wealthy and powerful yes, but the thing was they didn’t care about the taxes do to this wealth. They risked there lives for it, because they saw what the people wanted and they saw that they can truly change the world. Welfare makes people lazy and should be 100% voluntary. Also a military is Constitutional so I’m for it. Civil rights I’m for as long as it doesn’t involve telling people that they have to hire blacks, because it’s fair. Now to the note Micky brought up earlier. The top 5% in this country pay 50% of the taxes. That’s not right or fair, because it’s like buying a product and you have to pay more for it do to the ability to. Most wealthy people don’t even send there kids to public schools. So they get less out of the government and they pay so much more for it. Wouldn’t it be better to go to a Fair Tax of 18% where you don’t attack the rich or the hard working? Or better yet a head tax. Where everyone pays 5,000$ and that’s it. It just seems fair, simple, and will make America number 1 again.
