The Scroogiest of Scrooges, the ACLU, has made their annual appearance to spread Holiday smears; as this time the target is a courthouse in northeastern Pennsylvania. Nativity Scene and Menorah must come down according to those who are threatened by displays of religious symbols; once again citing the Constitution as grounds for their black hearts.
Yes it’s a story we hear every year at this time. A harmless Nativity Scene or Menorah becomes the object of scorn and ridicule for liberals everywhere with nothing better to do with their time, than try and bring their brand of misery to the rest of us; Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to the ACLU.
The ACLU and Americans United for Separation of Church and State wrote a letter to officials in northeastern Pennsylvania, demanding that religious symbols on the lawn of the courthouse in Wilkes-Barre be taken down on Constitutional grounds. I’m sure they’d be hard pressed to explain exactly what those grounds are. For you see children, there is no separation of Church and State in the Constitution. That’s just a convenient little ploy that libs use to trash everything religious, and have it relegated to the dust bin of private life.
The Pennsylvania courthouse Nativity Scene and Menorah were taken down in compliance with the fascists from the ACLU, abstaining from a promised legal fight due to a local budget crisis and other matters. That’s exactly what groups like the ACLU and this other nutty group want; they want us to just give in to their secular demands just to avoid a fight. Legal or otherwise; it’s time to hit back twice as hard.
With no sense of history or nostalgia, the ACLU forced the Pennsylvania courthouse Nativity Scene to be packed up like so many other Christmas decorations are after the seasons over. This particular Nativity Scene had been on the courthouse lawn for decades. But for some reason this year, it became a threat to our Republic.
Give the video a listen, very beautiful music.

This is sad and unnecessary. I say this as a secular person. I just don’t see the need of ruining such joyful holidays.

Who enforces this? I would be there with a club.

PJ, I think you’re looking for the Daily Kos or maybe Think Progress or something like that. Sorry to expose you to our stupidity.

I tend to agree with you here (surprised?), but not with your hateful rhetoric. There is also the issue of course of whether or not this is even true, you lie-mongers. The nativity scene is such a generic part of Xmas, I don’t see any point in its exclusion anywhere. It’s like “In God We Trust” on our money, you know? Throwing a nativity scene out at Xmas time is going too far.
It’s a lie to say that separation of church and state is not in the Constitution. You lie-mongers.

Hey Klo, if it’s a lie. Tell me where in the Constitution you find the separation of church and state. Not just the phrase, but where is it even talked about?

“The nativity scene is such a generic part of Xmas…”
Uh, Frau Blucher, get a clue. The Nativity Scene is what Christmas is all about.
