Talk about a good Samaritan. An Amsterdam man went to authorities when he had his Ecstasy pill collection stolen by thieves in a break in on Wednesday. A 46 year old unidentified man said that he had spent 20 years amassing a 2,400 Ecstasy pill collection and now they’re gone.

Ecstasy on tongue

Before you totally go off and call the guy an idiot for thinking he could go to the police to retrieve his collection of Ecstasy pills, here’s the deal; the man says that some of the pills are poisonous and could have lethal consequences if taken by someone.

So he’s simply worried that the unsuspecting thief might swallow a few of the poisonous Ecstasy pills and goodbye pill thief. Odds are the thief didn’t know what he was stealing anyway. The man stored his pill collection in coin collecting folders; the guy probably thought he was stealing a valuable collection of rare coins or something like that. What a jackass, both of them.

The original Ecstasy pill collector says he’s not a dealer or a user; he says that he is simply fascinated by the various shapes and colors that the Ecstasy pills come in. There was a story out last week about Obama shaped Ecstasy pills, I wonder if he had one of those?

Seems like you could find something a little safer, and maybe a little less illegal to collect; I guess he’s never heard of stamp collecting, coin collecting or even zhu zhu pet collecting. Anything but Ecstasy pill collecting that could end up costing you your freedom. But then again we are talking about Amsterdam.

If there was ever to be an Ecstasy pill collection stolen it would be in Amsterdam. If there was ever to be an Ecstasy pill collection period, it would be in Amsterdam. Police said they aren’t sure why some of the pills would be poisoned but they’re trying to get the word out. If you happen to be reading this and you’re the thief, don’t take any of the pills.
