Just days before Thanksgiving the TV host and business lady Martha Stewart is in a kind of negative campaign mode slamming with harsh words enemies and innocent bystanders.
We thought Thanksgiving is a time when you expect Martha Stewart and Rachel Ray to hug and Sarah Palin to be forgiven for whatever perceived imperfections she has.
Last week Rachel Ray’s cooking was not good enough for Mrs. Stewart and her book was not creative enough, this week Sarah Palin is not entertaining enough.
“[Rachael] just did a new cookbook, which is just a reedit of a lot of her older recipes. And that’s not good enough for me,” Martha Stewart said for Nightline. “Rachael is different. She’s more of an entertainer…with her bubbly personality, than she is teacher, like me. That’s not what she’s professing to be.”
Rachel Ray’s fans like me gasped with horror. Just when we were buying our EVOO for the Thanksgiving feast Martha hit on our favorite book. The business magnate quickly realized she made a major holiday mistake and apologized on Emeril Lagasse show:
“I truly believe that Rachael has done a terrific job bringing people — many people who would of never have even stepped into the kitchen or made a dish — to cook.”
Martha Stewart has just escaped Rachel Ray controversy when she decided to share with CNN that Sarah Palin is boring and dangerous. You can see the video below.
I guess Martha’s e-mail box and those of all the retailers who carry her brand are burning with messages from unhappy women who happen to like Sarah Palin. Are they going to buy Martha’s holiday fashion? Are they going to get turkey and stuffing recipes from Martha’s book? Is this a wise PR strategy or did Martha Stewart just misspoke? We shall know soon.

These celebrities ought to follow the example of the great Michael Jordan. When a black candidate ran against Jesse Helms in Michael Jordan’s home state, Michael refused to endorse him saying: “Republicans buy sneakers too.”
MJ actually knows what his earning potential is.

I am a big fan of Michael Jordan. Probably one of the most famous American athletes world-wide. I didn’t know this fact, but I agree it is the better business strategy.

I am so offended by Martha Stewart’s attack of Sarah Palin. I have never been a Martha Stewart fan; but, when she was forced to go to prison I stood up for her. I still feel she was railroaded. However, she has the gall to attack Palin? Follows my belief, when these people become famous they stand for the rich not those of us peons who buy her products!

This coming from someone who’s been to prison for insider trading. Anyway, who cares what Martha Stewart has to say. She’s hardly relevant.

Martha just lost my support totally. I also stood by her when sent to jail but after that comment, Martha can go back to jail. When will women begin to realize that if we do not stick together we will always be second class. Did Martha stand up for Hillary Clinton??

i’ve decided to turn martha off , she has already such an upity attitude esp. for someone whose gone to prison and really she’s kind of boring herself. i’ll also let her sponsers know how i feel and will choose to leave them out of my christmas shopping.

Does the chia pet work? Only cactus can survive my care - I forget to water the plants. The chia pets look very cute. How long do they stay green?

I have always admired Martha Stewart as a creative and Entrepreneur woman. I even learned English
from her show when I first arrived in USA from Argentina. I have lost respect for her now. I know she is a Democrat. Even if you don’t like Sarah Palin, you should NOT say she is “kind of dangerous” (see video above on CNN below). I hope she apologizes for this. That was a hate comment!
Sarah Palin “Kind of dangerous?” Martha Stewart..HELLO! Dangerous is Obama bringing 9-11 terrorists back to NY for trail. Aida, former Martha Stewart fan.

There is a topic about this about 1/2 way down on sandals resort facebook page because Sandals put the convicted felon Martha Stewart in charge of their honeymoon/wedding services.

It seems as if some think it’s alright. I however will be writing to Sandals to let them know their error

yeah, i saw a clip of Martha saying that R Ray didn’t bake, nor did she have her own garden. Martha came across as a real condescending SNOB. an elitist.
Rachael Ray represents the ” common woman” and has an engaging outgoing personality. People like her.
For someone that is a convicted felon, Stewart has some chutzpah to look down on anyone. Of course it was her attitude of entitlement that got her into trouble in the first place.

Martha Stewart calls Palin ” dangerous. ” What a moron Martha is. She should stick to cooking and home entertaining, topics she knows something about.
Martha is an elitist, while Palin, like R Ray, represents the common folk. Snobs like Stewart and John Kerry think they are ” entitled ” to things in life. If you waited on Martha and paid he no extra attention, she might ask ” do you know who I am ? ”
Yes, Martha , you sh*t like everyone else, so get over yourself !

Who freakin cares what Martha says about Palin? My heavens people, calm down.
Palin is dangerous and boring. She’s dangerous because people worship her in the same way the left worshipped Obama. And look where that got us!
She’s done exactly nothing to show she is qualified to hold national office.
She’s boring because she knows about 5 soundbites. She’s a mile wide and an inch deep.

I’m no fan of Martha Stewart, but like a broken clock she seems to be right twice a day, and this is one of those times. Sarah Palin and her faux populism is thinly disguised theocracy and dangerous for the nation. Ms Palin represents the worst of our country, the ideology of repression and forced conformity in the guise of small government and liberty.

lisa, where can i get a martha stewart chia pet ? i could place it next to my joe biden one.

Thank you, Ms. Stewart for saying what many of us are thinking. Palin just mumbles answers about things that I think she knows very little and her cronies just ooh and ahh. Hopefully, the public will wake up and realize that Palin is much-to-do-about-nothing! What happened to freedom of speech…Palin appears on FOX and they act like she’s the most intelligent person to come along (and maybe to them, she is), but the rest of us feel like Ms. Stewart!
