Major Nidal Malik Hasan is the Fort Hood shooter who mowed down his fellow men in Texas. Word now is that Hasan is permanently paralyzed as he lay in Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio Texas.
The diagnosis was confirmed by his lawyer that he is unable to move from the chest down. Hasan killed 13 RMY comrades in the worst act of terrorism since 911 on U.S. soil. He will be tried in military court however the Obama administration seems unwilling to properly label the act terrorism.
In the future historians will speculate about the motivations of our president when it comes to terrorism. He has gone out of his way to embrace nations which sponsor terrorists, namely Iran and North Korea.
It is a historical curiosity that he has not uttered the word “terrorist” one single time since taking office, even when Major Nidal Malik Hasan committed atrocities under his very command. The odd omission of this word from his White House vocabulary is something that is so impossible for a statesman that it must be intentional.
The warm embrace of terorrist states has not produced any noticeable achievement to date other than some photo opportunities of a smiling Obama meeting with more serious people. Meanwhile the mixed messages call into question the United States’ seriousness about world leadership.
Major Nidal Malik Hasan is a domestic terrorist. We all need to recognize it even when our elected leaders will not. Otherwise our minds become mush as we forget the lessons of history. We will be doomed to repeat history in the form of more terrorist acts, more killing, more death as a result of a rudderless Washington.
Everyone else seems to know it. Please leave your thoughts below on Major Nidal Malik Hasan. Is it poetic justice that he is paralyzed?

All reports should be on the victims, and not a word on whether this vile piece of refuse is paralyzed. I’m 85 percent sure you’re right about being his being a scheming terrorist. But there’s the off chance that he went berserk because he was schizo, or his boss did something, which I doubt. But just because I harbor that possibility doesn’t make me a subversive. I am a liberal (we have a lot more in common that you think), but if the evidence points to terror for this rotting scum, act accordingly! And Muslims in the military should be watched closely. period.

Oh, great. He mows down a bunch of our good service men and women and now we get to pay for his medical for the rest of his life. Truly makes me angry!

Sense we seem to be at war with Islam, maybe we should open the WW2 internment camps for Muslins as we did with Japanese and Germans.
In light of the murders at Ft. Hood by a Muslim Officer (who had sworn to defend the people, our Constitution and the United States) this article becomes more timely and real than ever;
Can a good Muslim be a good American?
I sent that question to a friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years.
The following is his reply:
Theologically - no. Because his allegiance is to Allah, the moon god of Arabia .
Religiously - no. Because no other religion is accepted by his Allah
except Islam.
Scripturally - no. Because his allegiance is to the five pillars of
Islam and the Quran (Koran).
Geographically - no. Because his allegiance is to Mecca , to which he
turns in prayer five times a day.
Socially - no. Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews.
Politically - no. Because he must submit to the mullah (spiritual
leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and Destruction of America,
the great Satan.
Domestically - no. Because he is instructed to marry four women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him.
Intellectually - no. Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.
Philosophically - no. Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not
allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.
Spiritually - no. Because when we declare “one nation under God,” the
Christian’s God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as
heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in The Quran’s
99 excellent names.
Therefore after much study and deliberation….perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country. They obviously cannot be both “good” Muslims and good Americans.
Call it what you wish….it’s still the truth.
If you find yourself intellectually in agreement with the above
statements, perhaps you will share this with your friends. The more who understand this, the better it will be for our country and our future.
Pass it on Fellow Americans. The religious war is bigger than we know or understand.

this man should be put to death. to me we are at war and it was treason!!!
November 23rd, 2009 at 4:44 am
Maybe it would be better if he lives a life in pain, in a prison hospital bed until he rots from his bed sores.
November 23rd, 2009 at 5:07 am
I have very personal feelings about this man and what he did, and I don’t think the citizens of Texas should have to pay to take care of him for life, but they care for many other murderers in the prison system… unless they execute him (which I believe they should). As far as the article… I think it is a shame to use this persons acts to draw a conclusion about our President “embracing terrorist states” and making our government “rudderless”. This guy likely did act because of his belief system, which happened to be Muslim, but Timothy McVey also acted out of his belief system didn’t he… terrorism comes in all shapes, sizes and colors…and because our President doesn’t embrace inflammatory language at this point in the game doesn’t mean we are doomed. Re: Major Hassan… we should give him his ultimate goal…death, let the afterlife sort it all out.
November 23rd, 2009 at 5:23 am
Of course it’s poetic justice that he’s paralyzed from the waist down. Imagine, should he be found guilty and executed, he’ll be considered a martyr. What could he possibly do with 72 virgins.
As for Obama’s unwillingness to properly label the act as terrorism. I think it’s been pretty much determined that our floppy-eared TOTUS is paralyzed from the neck up.
November 23rd, 2009 at 5:53 am
we all know why Obama won’t call it terrorisim..because he’s a Muslim himself.and this Islamic major needs a firing squad. bad enough we have to worry about this stuff abroad..now it’s in out military ranks…God help us
November 23rd, 2009 at 5:57 am
The outcome of this cowardly act should come quickly, let him have his day in the military court, find him guilty, and execute him at the earliest possible moment. He is no martyr to anyone, just a cold blooded killer.
November 23rd, 2009 at 6:07 am
The best thing to do is allow the families of the victims decide what the punishment should be for this man!How about stoning him to death? As far as a concentration camp for muslims, not a good idea, maybe we should just deport these people back to the countries from which they came problem solved!
November 23rd, 2009 at 6:24 am
What the terrorist camel jocky has done is treason, plain and simple. There is only one punishment, and Obama evidently doesn’t have the stomach to do what the constitution calls for. He is even scared of the word “Terrorist”
Man, are we in trouble!
November 23rd, 2009 at 6:41 am
I think the fact that he is paralyzed is great news ! He not only does not get his 72 virgins but he will suffer for the rest of his life.
November 23rd, 2009 at 7:16 am
My husband is a US soldier, leaving for Afg. in June. This is rediculous. We are not even safe at home. This guy deserves to die, FYI my husband has seen him, he is in the hospital on base here. So many people want to “pull the plug” on this guy. And they should. What is this world coming to. HOOAH all. we should stick together and kick all of them out of the military. Leaves more room for good ol american boys like my husband.
November 23rd, 2009 at 7:33 am
Can we get over saying alledged shooter everyone knows he is the murderer. When it is reported as alledged it makes it look like there is some other suspect we are looking for. All this pc crap is destroying our country. Let’s tell like it is muslims should be profiled and scrutinized more than others.
November 23rd, 2009 at 7:37 am
This is rediculous ,he did it we all no that he deserves to die [and soon] let’s not put him in a prison hosp for us to take care of the rest of his life ,while the one’s he killed have no life…..
November 23rd, 2009 at 7:42 am
What we “should do” and what America “will do” unfortunatey are always at odds. We focus on the “exceptions” and give them all the rights. If it were up to me, his trial would be swift and simple. He would be found guilty and paralyzed or not sentenced to death. He would not get the chance to appeal. Not necessary and waste of taxpayer money. Sentence needs to be carried out within a month of verdict. No fanfare, nothing. Just done and drop him in an unmarked grave.
This is America and he is a terrorist and murderer. He has no rights!!
November 23rd, 2009 at 7:48 am
Maj. Hasan should be punished the same as if he had done this heinous crime in a middle eastern country, off with his head.
November 23rd, 2009 at 7:49 am
My husband is retired military. We both feel very strongly that this was a act of terrorism and that this person violated all aspect’s of our military AND MILITAEY LAW’S to the fullest extent possible and should be shot according to military law for the terrorist act’s against our military personnel and our country. we find it horrifying that he lay in A hospital recieving care at our govt. expense and tax payer’s expense after his action’s, not to mention the long term care cost at our expense. after his ungodly action’s, we feel he should be executed immediately without cost to taxpayer’s for trial appeal’s etc. do not waste anymore monie’s on him, DO NOT DISGRACE THOSE WHO’S LIFE’S HE TOOK AND THE FAMILIE’S AND FRIEND’S OF THE VICTIM’S !!!!!!!!!! THIS PERSON SHOULD BE EXECUTED BY FIREING SQUAD IMMEDIATELY AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN EXECUTED BEFOR NOW !!!!!!!

I just wanted to respond to comment #3 by Ernie. The notion that Islam is completely incompatible and inherently in conflict with the west is an over simplification of the prevailing tensions between the west and the arab world. Conflict stems from conflicting interests, which can be remedied. Your friend’s view saying that a good muslim can’t be a good american is not at all representative of the muslim community. It is precisely holding onto views like this that could ultimately prevent the west from reaching a peace with the muslim world.
November 23rd, 2009 at 10:15 am
It is way past time to end the “political correctness.” He is NOT the “alleged killer.” This was NOT an act of temporary insanity but rather the deliberate pre-meditated act of a devout Muslim. A Muslim that was obedient to what the Quaran teaches.
This was a “terrorist act.” Our pathetic President just can’t seem to state the truth for fear of offending who,Peaceful Muslim Americans, the world wide Islamic community ?
And the Attorney general granting KSM a civilian trial is another travesty of justice.
The clowns in the Obama administration, starting with the Clown in Cheif, need to be replaced AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Whether it is economic policy or foreign policy Obama HAS NO CLUE. He is a great campaigner but is an incompetant President. He will most likely go down in history as America’s worst President EVER.
MMMM MMMM MMMM
Barack Hussein Obama
November 23rd, 2009 at 10:17 am
18- Yes Ernie, there are many peaceful Muslims, especially in free countries such as the USA.
November 23rd, 2009 at 11:30 am
“I think the fact that he is paralyzed is great news ! He not only does not get his 72 virgins but he will suffer for the rest of his life.”
Yeah, but thats only a bad thing if any of us actually believe theres any virgins waiting for him.
So what if he dies believing thats where hes going ? I personally think hes going to hell.
So yeah, put him in front of a blind firing squad until one of em gets lucky
November 23rd, 2009 at 12:03 pm
Micky,
I am fine with executing this guy by just about any means. Before we do that however, I think he may have some useful intelligence for us. At the very least it would be wise for us to learn from him- why he thinks Islam required or suggested his actions. He may be able to help us save future lives.
November 23rd, 2009 at 12:14 pm
Tim V,
You won’t learn a damn thing from him. But, if you wheeled him over to a cement wall and made him watch the execution of every member of his family, extended family and their pets you might get him to cough up some info.
November 23rd, 2009 at 12:14 pm
i do not advocate killing him.
but i can see giving him minimal health care, water and bread and cheese until he dies.
i know, we can sign him up for obamacare …
or would that be against the geneva conventions to treat a prisoner so badly?
“Article 15
The Power detaining prisoners of war shall be bound to provide free of charge for their maintenance and for the medical attention required by their state of health.” geneva conventions
i am not sure that obama death panels conform to the “medical attention required by their state of health”
