Sarah Palin’s book tour is turning into bashing of President Obama’s policies. The Former Alaska governor sounded quite peaceful in the overture of the media coverage that happened on Oprah, who is President’s best friend in the media world.
The cat fight that many expected did not happen and the crowds hungry for entertainment had to wait for the first act to get some raw meat. Things were a bit different when Sarah Palin opened up to Barbara Walters.
Republican Vice-Presidential nominee signed Barack Obama’s report card on economy when asked by the host to grade his work on a scale from one to ten – with ten being best.
“There are a lot of decisions being made that I — and probably the majority of Americans — are not impressed with right now,” Palin said. “I think our economy is not being put on the right track, because we’re strayed too far from, fundamentally, from free enterprise principles that built our country. And I question, too, some of the dithering, and hesitation with some of our national security questions that have got to be answered for our country. … So, a four.”
A four? We learned Sarah Palin is a tough grader. We also learned that President Obama is likely to score poor on Palin’s chart if he does not follow Gen. McChrystal’s advice on increasing troops in Afghanistan - she told ABC’s Barbara Walters
“To listen to McChrystal, to listen to the appointee that President Obama asked for, the advice from,” she said. “McChrystal gave the president the advice and said, ‘We need essentially a surge strategy in Afghanistan, so that we can win in Afghanistan. And that means more resources, more troops there.’ It frustrates me and frightens me — and many Americans — that President Obama is dithering around with the decision in Afghanistan.”
In between TV appearances Sarah Palin was able to hit on Obama’s habit of bowing before foreign dignities in a special interview for Newsmax and give advice to the President on tax policies at the Talk-Radio Rush Limbaugh.
Sarah Palin took the chance given to her on FOX’s Hannity to confirm that she is still standing behind her “Obama is palling around with terrorists” remark that stir quite controversy in the last year Presidential campaign.
Hannity: I could not understand why the campaign did not focus on Bill Ayers and Father Pfleger and Jeremiah Wright… You wanted to talk about Jeremiah Wright; you write in the book you were told not to. Why?”
Palin: I am still perplexed as to why we weren’t fair to the electorate and discussed those associations…I think that it was quite unfortunate… It wasn’t negative campaigning and it wasn’t off-base… Now what you did and other common-sense conservatives – what you guys did was try to do the job that a campaign should have done. We really missed the boat on that.”
Next the former Alaska Governor entered the No Spin Zone of Bill O’Reilly’s Factor in a three part interview. We can only wonder what bold and fresh messages Sarah Palin will send Obama from there.

One thing you can count on as fact, Barack Obama will not quit in tears because of the critisim of those who hold other postitons and choose to hinder rather than put forth any plausible solutions to the mess left by the last incarnation of republican wonder boys.

yeah, Obama is pretty easy pickings when it comes to criticism. It is obvious he has no clue when it comes to governing or the economy. He’s a joke and now we’re a joke in front of the world. Why can’t this country elect a president who is qualified?

That Hannity interview was the same one in which she said we should institute sanctions on Iraq in order to deal the the possibility of nuclear proliferation in Iran, right?
Ok, just checking.
For the record, she’s actually right that Obama has messed up with the economy. She’s just not the person to proactively form a better set of policy positions. She thrives of negativity, both incoming and outgoing, and I don’t think she really cares much about policy one way or the other.

She spurts out talking points and doesn’t back it up with any reasoning.
Absolutely right Kelly. She’s populism incarnate. Some of her positions actually have merit, but like you said she never takes it beyond a cute little talking point. She has no idea why the free market is superior — I haven’t heard a single reference to Hayek or Friedman from her. She just knows that it is, because that’s what “real Americans” think, and they all clap when she says it.

It was very generous of Palin to grade him with a ‘4′.
Sarah Palin’s book tour is turning into bashing of President Obama’s policies.
People ask her questions and she answers them. It’s refreshing to have a politician who is willing to answer questions with her honest opinion as opposed to sucking up to the Oppressor in Chief.
I’m getting emails from Obama’s campaign (yes- he’s still campaigning) - asking for donations to help him fight Sarah Palin. This is the President running scared of a politician who isn’t afraid of him and his hit men.

” She has no idea why the free market is superior ”
You really think its that hard for someone with her background as a governor, city manager and mayor to understand how and why a free market capitalistic system works and what makes it superior ?
Get serious.
No offense, I have no problem with someone not agreeing with her policies but to make an argument against her like that ridiculous.
“One thing you can count on as fact, Barack Obama will not quit in tears because of the critisim of those who hold other postitons and choose to hinder rather than put forth any plausible solutions to the mess left by the last incarnation of republican wonder boys.”
Yeah well, if you cant see the many solutions offered by his critics then one might begin to wonder what you consider “plausible” or “fact” for that matter.
This crap that the right has no alternative solutions is just that… crap.
A load concocted by the moonbats that the liberal media is only too happy to reinforce by omitting whats really going on.
All one had to do to put this bullsht to rest today was to watch the healthcare debates on C-Span today. Theres good counters to the dems propositions and many great solutions coming from conservatives if you just listen up.
Just dont count on the MSM to let you know what they are.
Oh, that mess left by the last incarnation of republicans was absolutely nothing compared to what this idiot has done.
This schmuck in chief took a fender bender and turned into a 200 car pile up

does palin even have “policies”? never noticed any. but she does aspire to be the ultimate soccer mom. in fact I have never seen her argue for a policy, just seems a lot of gripes to me. I don’t see any logic or world view behind what she says other than her aspiration to be all she can be. but to what purpose? where’s the beef?
November 21st, 2009 at 4:19 pm
if you were to ask me to give you a single palin idea in terms of public policy, I wouldn’t have one. Why do these presidential wannabe’s start running before they have etched out their policies, their beliefs, their plans? Maybe she isn’t the wonk type, and would it make any difference, as look how bill clinton ended up. But she’s got to start putting some beef or moose on the table soon if she’s serious.
