It’s tough being a fertility doctor these days, what with the possibility of inseminating the patient with the wrong sperm and all. Dr. Ben Ramaley is accused of not only doing that, but doing it with his own sperm. An unidentified couple alleges that Dr. Ben Ramaley used his own sperm to impregnate the woman with twins.
I know what you’re thinking, I was thinking the same thing. Why would a fertility doctor have samples of his own sperm just lying around the clinic? Seems a little odd to me; what’s the old saying about not doing something where you eat, or something like that?
In 2005, when the alleged incident happened, Dr. Ben Ramaley paid a fine of $10,000 dollars for giving a woman the wrong sperm, which he apparently doesn’t deny. The couple became suspicious because the twins were fair skinned and had light complexions despite the fact that their father is an African-American. DNA testing proved that he was not the biological father.
The case in 05’ was quickly settled and the good Doctor never submitted a DNA sample in the case. Now the Connecticut Attorney General has started digging around in the case again, and the allegations of Dr. Ramaley using his own sperm have resurfaced.
Despite there being a gag order in the case, the declaration that Dr. Ben Ramaley used his own sperm to impregnate the woman has become the focus now. Dr. Ramaley forfeited his New York medical license and agreed in 2008 not to perform artificial inseminations again. Especially if his sperm was anywhere in the vicinity; okay, I added that last part.
Makes you wonder if this is the only couple Dr. Ben Ramaley tricked like this? Could there be a huge army of Ramaley Juniors out there wondering all over the country? If Dr. Ben Ramaley used his own sperm once, who says he wouldn’t have done it many more times? Just never having been caught. Just a thought.

sounds to me like the good doctor wants to pass along his “good genes” to as many fortunate women as he can get away with.
is it an “ego” thing ?
is he lonely and wants more children but does not want to have to raise them ?
this is quite an odd story to say the least.
i would be outraged if i was the father or mother and dr crazy did this to my family ?
where are the trial attorney on this one ?
you would think this would be an easy 1o million medical malpractice suit ?
does this dr still have his license ?
i read the whole article, but have not yet viewed the video. i will do that now.

ahhh the ambulance chasers DID get involved !
don’t you hate greedy lawyers ?
blood sucking leeches
yes, we need them but if we had 1/10 the numbers of lawyers, 1/5 the number of laws, 2x’s the number of dr’s- then this country would be a better place to live and our health insurance costs would be 50% lower than they are now.
that is my opinion.
what is YOURS ???

Men are genetically programmed to reproduce so he is just following the natural order. Totally natural for us to pursue women in both traditional and scientific ways.

Men are genetically programmed to reproduce -mccain
seems like i read that somewhere too. the article i recall was something along the lines of ..oh yeah it was about single women being more attracted to married men because married men had already passed a “screen” so to speak by having been selected by another woman as a suitable mate. it may have been some darwinian type of “natural selection” or something

Ellie, lesbian stem cells? Now I’ve heard everything.
TimV, I think you got it right. And just think how attractive a married guy already with a girlfriend must be to an average woman.

But many men are faithful. Maybe not you, eh, MCCAIN?
And Shannon, no, you do not know what I am thinking. I am thinking that this is silly BS and you are a fool.

Klo it’s been so long since you called me a name I was beginning to feel neglected.

Just imagine a future stuck in bed with Klo for the rest of your life. What respectable woman would be faithful?
