Glenn Beck was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday after he started developing signs of pain in his abdomen. He was rushed from his radio show and had emergency surgery to remove his appendix.
Christopher Balfe, the President of Mercury Radio confirmed that Beck was indeed rushed to the hospital and is now recovering fine. In the funniest statement of the day Balfe said “before going under Glenn asked the doctor to draw out the surgery procedure on a blackboard.” Beck is hilarious, even before going into surgery.
As always, the Kos Kids can never pass up an opportunity to wish death upon Republicans, especially Glenn Beck. Those guys are hilarious (click at your own risk, the domain of Daily Kos is scary). Actually, this reminds me of a time when I used to work for Sen. Paul Simon (yes, I was a Democrat at one point) and I was in DC the week that both President Nixon and John Candy died. Man, talk about some gallows humor. I can’t tell you how many people had visible glee that Richard Nixon was dead, remarking “can we observe the death of John Candy instead of Nixon” when they closed the Capital in observance of his death. Stay classy libtards, stay classy.
In all seriousness, I’m not the biggest Beck guy in the world. Actually, he makes me want to kill myself sometimes because his show is all doom and gloom lately. With that said, I wish him a speedy and healthy recovery.

Poor guy. If obamacare was passed they either wouldn’t of diagnosed it or he wouldn’t of been able to get a doctor.
November 5th, 2009 at 4:51 pm
I wish him fast recovery. Those who wish people bad are idiots.
November 5th, 2009 at 5:02 pm
The video is from The Onion, a satire site. It was online long before Beck took ill.
November 5th, 2009 at 5:56 pm
Ya gotta love the dems. Has anybody heard the name Edward Kennedy since he has croaked? Apparently he is no longer of any use to the dems.
November 5th, 2009 at 6:12 pm
Napolitano did Beck’s show today, that’s why I put it up.
November 5th, 2009 at 6:14 pm
God bless you Glenn. Here is wishing you a speedy recovery.
November 5th, 2009 at 7:41 pm
Hopefully Beck will get infected and die a slow painful death so no one has to listen to his paranoid national group therapy sessions any more.
November 5th, 2009 at 8:17 pm
I don’t think anyone is being forced to listen to Glenn Beck. Those who wishes someone dead does need group therapy, and sounds a little paranoid to me. Get well soon, Glenn.

7- you are sick
November 5th, 2009 at 10:23 pm
Beck should be happy SEIU nurses are caring for him, after the way he has disparaged their union.
November 5th, 2009 at 11:32 pm
GOD’S BLESSINGS AND PEACE BE WITH YOU GLEN. WISHING YOU A SPEEDY RECOVERY !!!

Liberalism is a mental disorder. Have a nice day.
November 6th, 2009 at 3:30 am
If Beck had a better time slot, he would blow O’Rielly away.
November 6th, 2009 at 3:31 am
Beck has done more than any other person to expose the hard left socialist agenda of Obama.
November 6th, 2009 at 3:32 am
He has shined a light on the huge deficit numbers and exposed the far left associates and their radical agenda that Obama has surrounded himself with.
November 6th, 2009 at 2:34 pm
He is also very funny and quite entertaining. He uses lots of “voices” and props.
November 6th, 2009 at 3:19 pm
Worst nightmares of the left : Glann Beck, Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.

#10, Have you ever met a nonunion teacher, nurse, or factory worker? You do them a disservice by suggesting that only union employees are capable of performing a specific task efficiently.
Personally, I find the opposite to be true.
November 8th, 2009 at 2:38 pm
Liberalism is not only a mental disorder, it’s mental retardation. Hurry back Glenn, we need you to fight for freedom and the COnstitution. Obama is taking e verything away.
November 9th, 2009 at 12:03 am
good thing he has health insurance or he could have died from his appenidictis like the 45 million of people who have none
November 9th, 2009 at 12:04 am
hey jane conservatism isnt a disease it is a plauge on society —but making fun of retarded people is kind of republican bounty these days with sarah palin calling her child “the retarded one”. I am sure trig is smarter than his mother
November 9th, 2009 at 12:05 am
first glen becks advertisers were trying to get away now his internal organs
November 9th, 2009 at 12:07 am
i hope some unionized nurses are working on glen beck — and they show him what real americans think of him and kill him
November 9th, 2009 at 2:31 am
Glenn Beck just eats you liberals up, doesn’t he?
Why? Because he exposes the rampant socialism in the White House and does it with both audio and video? Hard to refute, isn’t it.
Glenn Beck proves that liberals are so thick that you can draw them a picture, literally, and they still don’t get it.
Or is it simply denial?
November 9th, 2009 at 8:03 am
If you liberals want to laugh at Glenn Beck, this video from “The Daily Show” should do the trick…

I wish Beck a speedy recovery and hope everything is OK. That said, I can’t stand the guy; he’s a total hack. Fox should replace him with Napolitano and give Beck a goofy morning show or something, so he can get back to his roots.
Do people honestly take Glen Beck seriously?
November 9th, 2009 at 10:28 am
Yeah Rhayader.
I can seperate the entertaiment value from the substance.
He makes excellent points that give plausible reasons for us to think about whats going on.
Either its coincidence or part of grand scheme it doesnt matter. The fact is that this administration has more in common with everything thats wrong and the mistakes of the past than any other in our history.
He points out that theres just a little too much alignment with Marxism, socialism amd communism going on within the ranks and policies for us to ignore it.
Glenn has a hotline direct from the White House to him so that they can call if he gets anything wrong.
No calls yet.
Of course like the chicken sht he is the one and his cohorts will try their best to oust FOX from pressers and trash them on national TV.
=========================
Hey Brain.
Not until the schmucks on the left got a hold of the English langauge did retarded become a bad word.
Trig is in fact mentally retarded, right ?
In your case we’ll just go with “challenged”
Fair enough ?

Yeah I don’t have big problems with Beck from a content standpoint Mick. He’s actually got a libertarian streak that I would really like if he was a bit more intellectually consistent with it. But damn, the man is an annoying goofball. I can’t take the antics and the crying and such — it all seems so forced and rehearsed to me.
The guy started out doing wacky FM drive-time morning shows; his style still fits that role to a tee. I’d take a thinking man like Napolitano any day of the week over a blowhard like Beck.
November 9th, 2009 at 1:19 pm
Eh, sorry, theres nothing wrong with Glenns thinking.
Hes a little too emotional but I dont think its feigned at all.
Us recovering addicts learn to flow with and cherish our emotions and screw what anyone thinks of the outbursts.
My wife would rather I be as sincere as possible than have to witness what she saw once for a little while back in the day.
November 9th, 2009 at 1:59 pm

Hey that’s personal though; Beck is a TV personality who needs to maintain a public persona. The one he’s chosen is a blubbering, crying, annoying, reactionary goofball. I find it incredibly grating and can’t watch it, but obviously plenty of people are tuning in.
Hes a little too emotional but I dont think its feigned at all.
Not at all? Really??
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ka_UWyZ9xf4
It’s all an act dude. The guy is a PR stunt man to the core — and hey, like I said, it’s working out for his career. But he’s not exactly the sort of guy we should be taking seriously. I’ll take Napolitano ahead of this charlatan any day of the week.
November 9th, 2009 at 2:15 pm
“Hey that’s personal though; Beck is a TV personality who needs to maintain a public persona.”
Glenn Beck is a recovering addict whos just working his program regardless of where hes at.
Thats how its done.
I doubt Napolitano could carry Glenns show more than a week without it failing.
Are you saying his patriotism is an act ? You did say “ALL”.
November 9th, 2009 at 2:20 pm
Rhayader.
That was fricking beneath you dude !
He wasnt faking anything !!!
That video was nothing more than him having to prepare for a magazine shoot that demaded he be crying for a specific photo.
Obviously he doesnt cry on cue so the make up was needed.
He was not prepping for his show.
Shame on you.
November 9th, 2009 at 2:23 pm
Glenn Beck is a recovering addict whos just working his program regardless of where hes at.
Come on man, his job is not to be a recovering addict. His job is to be a TV host. Again there’s not much I can say given his ratings, but personally I think his whole style sucks. Real bad.
Are you saying his patriotism is an act ? You did say “ALL”.
I’m saying the way he talks about it is an act. His entire on-air personality — not necessarily the substance of his opinions, but his delivery — is all a show.
November 9th, 2009 at 2:26 pm
Shame on you.
Haha, uhhh, ok, I suppose I’m ashamed. Better?
It’s just a quick look at the sort of manufacturing that goes into his public persona Mick. I’m not saying any other celebrities are different, but he’s got this holier-than-thou “real guy” thing going on. That’s what the on-air crying’s all about. “I just love this country so damn much…”
He’s an entertainer, not a thinker. I don’t hold that against him, but it does make me a little reluctant to get my news from him.
November 9th, 2009 at 3:24 pm
Of course its a “show”
Hes still a recovering addict regardless of how you think he should conduct himself on the show.
TV host, politician, whatever, hes honest in the deliverance of his sentiments.
You’re entitled to think what you want about the guy, I myself call him a pu$$y when he starts that sht but I understand the guy and dont think hes faking it.
“It’s just a quick look at the sort of manufacturing that goes into his public persona ”
Yeah, what dont you understand about having to create a magazine cover that depicts how he is on air ?
Of course that kind of display would have to be manufactured but does not prove that his crying on air is fake.
Now, if he were caught during the airing of his show taking a break for glycerine drops that would be a bust big time.
The guy definately thinks.
He goes off script and ad libs, improvises all the time off the top of his head.
I’ve been watching the guy since he was on CNN which hes discussed and gets all choked up talking about how FOX actaully lets him say what needs to be said.
I can see myself sitting down with him and pulling his strings til he crys. I do it alot while qualifying junkies alot to see if theres any sincerity. I know real tears when I see them, thats the reason I’m asked to sit in on a lot of sessions because of my bullsht spotting skills.
It wasnt just a quick look into how things are manufactured.
You presented that clip implying it proved he was a fake.
C’mon dude, I thought we had a more honest understanding between each other than that.
November 10th, 2009 at 12:25 pm
C’mon dude, I thought we had a more honest understanding between each other than that.
Say what? I don’t even know what that means. Was I trying to pull a fast one on you or something? I don’t think I made a single claim about that video one way or the other.
November 10th, 2009 at 4:07 pm
. . . AND THE MASTER ONCE SAID: “A MAN CAN SOMETIMES HEAL HIMSELF. AND THAT IS A MIRACLE. A DOCTOR CAN SOMETIMES HEAL A PATIENT. AND THAT IS AN EVEN GREATER MIRACLE.

Thank you for telling the truth, Beck. It’s hard to come by these days. THANK YOU!!
