The joint session of Congress, where Barack Obama delivered what seems like his 1,003,187 speech on the ‘benefits’ of goverment run healthcare, actually resembled Great Britain’s parliament-style of speechifying — including catcalls, boos, and insults. Congressman Joe Wilson (R-SC) even shouted out the word “Liar” when Obama said illegal immigrants were not covered under Obamacare.
The man who promised Americans that he would be a post-partisan president, will go down as the man who’s shameless socialistic practices, lies, and name calling, not only inspired a citizen revolution across the country but also one among Washington’s elected, forced to listen to all his hot air.
It’s understandable I suppose. Sometimes a person can take only so much abuse, lies, and distortions before they snap. Apparently, that was Rep. Joe Wilson of South Carolina’s issue tonite when he dared to call The One a ‘Liar!’ during the speech to congress. You can watch the original video below the fold as well as a special ‘enhanced’ version.
It was the incompetent Barack Obama’s bright idea to go before congress on national primetime TV to once again try to sell his failing boondoggle of a government-run healthcare plan. And it certainly has been Obama and his minions who have repeated lectured Republicans and those who oppose his economic and healthcare policies on having ‘civility’ yet all the while insulting and debasing us with terms such as: ‘un-American!’, ‘Brown Shirts’, Nazi’s!’. ‘Neanderthals!’ and so on.
The truth is that Americans all over the country have been educating themselves on the facts of those ‘fundamental changes’ Obama has in store for us and have decided to push back hard against them. Apparently, some Republicans in congress, like Joe Wilson, have decided to as well especially when Barack Obama lies directly to congress and the American people themselves on whether Obamacare will cover illegal immigrants.
Rep. Joe Wilson has issued an apology for calling Barack Obama a Liar during the speech to congress saying this:
“This evening I let my emotions get the best of me when listening to the President’s remarks regarding the coverage of illegal immigrants in the health care bill. While I disagree with the President’s statement, my comments were inappropriate and regrettable. I extend sincere apologies to the President for this lack of civility.”
I hear you Joe and so feel your pain.
You can watch the video below where Rep. Joe Wilson Calls Obama ‘Liar!’ During Speech To Congress. I must also say that I bet Congressman Wilson is a new hero to an awful lot of people around the country.
And because we care about keeping you informed, Right Pundits has secured an ‘enhanced’ audio and video version of the ‘Liar!’ video above. Enjoy!

yeah, the only thing wrong with the pic of wilson is that it hides his rebel suspenders. He makes me proud to be a republican, I guess.
September 9th, 2009 at 11:57 pm
wow … i think somebody is infected by “white guilt”.
obama was lying.
wilson called him a liar.

play fair. I’m just trying to figure out how elites will react, that’s what I do. It’s a tedious existence, but that’s my lot.
I dunno, I have a lot of friends in western pa and northern ny, and regardless of party, they characterize deep south pols the same way. That’s wht jindal intrigues me so much.
You honestly dont think this guy comes off as a stereotype?
September 10th, 2009 at 12:12 am
well, let me put it this way, i do not think any less of him today than i would have yesterday.
September 10th, 2009 at 12:14 am
no, I dont mean bho, silly. I’m not even sure that’s possible, using all the permutations of limit theory. I meant colonel leghorn.
September 10th, 2009 at 12:18 am

September 10th, 2009 at 12:26 am

September 10th, 2009 at 12:28 am

September 10th, 2009 at 12:33 am
yup, so i understand your feelings about joe wilson, but honestly so he called obama a liar … during a joint session of congress … on national tv … in front of the entire world …
it is probably the most honest thing said in washington in the last seven months
September 10th, 2009 at 12:39 am
yeah, we havent gone up to see her yet. We talk to her pretty often; I think she likes to make me feel useful as far as tricky math, tho I’m sure she understands stuff as well as me. When she got married 2 summers ago, we played around with some math ideas so she was late for her shower. The womenfolk were not pleased about that.

there is a place called Old Sturbridge Village near there.
you might want to recommend to her that the thanksgiving dinner there is wonderful.
hubby and i went one year and it was very romantic.
September 10th, 2009 at 12:44 am
well, she’s already married, so the time for romance may be over.

that does sound nice. Maybe we’ll just get it for them as a present.
September 10th, 2009 at 12:51 am
Why didn’t the Republicans bring in some of their paid townhall goons to shout the President down?
God I hate the Republicans. Can you imagine what would have happened, if the Democrats had done that to Bush?
Well, we’ll see. We’ll just see. When that bill is on Obama’s desk, and he signs it, it won’t matter how big of pricks the Republicans are.
September 10th, 2009 at 12:53 am
the thanksgiving at plimouth plantation circa 1630 is even better … but it is 2 hours away.
the one at old sturbridge village is circa 1830 and as i said very romantic.
i even went on a hayride there.
September 10th, 2009 at 12:57 am
“God I hate the Republicans. ”
well that is healthy
“Can you imagine what would have happened, if the Democrats had done that to Bush?”
you did, for eight years.
“When that bill is on Obama’s desk, and he signs it …”
soooooo … you think reid will use reconciliation then?
September 10th, 2009 at 12:58 am
I think theyd like it a lot, and if I remember grad school, they prob dont have a lot of extra cash floating around, and the semester should be over by then. I think this semester is a pretty easy one, just applied stuff. The only concept I think she had trouble with was saddle point theory, but it wasnt very hard to explain.
September 10th, 2009 at 1:00 am
what are you talking about? Why would I hate republicans? Well, now that I’m confused, I guess that means I’m tired. Night, lisab.
September 10th, 2009 at 1:02 am
arriba,
i was talking to klo, not you
