There are many grassroots organizations and individuals across the country against Obamacare including a non-partisan group running a new national ad critical of Obama’s health care reform plan. Fight to Stop Obamacare!

Many millions of Americans around the country believe our healthcare system is gravely threatened by Obamacare, a planned government-run single payor takeover that will ration health care, limit important medicines and surgeries for seniors, and end Medicare as we know it. Now, a grassroots organization that’s fighting against Obamacare, has mounted a PR campaign that includes advertisement on TV. According to the League of American Voters and others around the country, Obamacare will add 50 million new patients — including up to 13 million illegal aliens — to an system that already doesnt have enough doctors.

The television ad by the League of American Voters, features a neurosurgeon who warns that a government-run health care system will lead to the rationing of procedures and medicine.

The refusal by ABC and NBC to run this 30-second ad nationally, which is critical of The One’s health care health insurance reform plan, is raising questions from the group who made the ad — particularly in light of ABC’s recent health care commercial special which aired in prime time last June at the White House.

CBS has approved the ad for national distribution and talks are ongoing with FOX. NBC has questioned some of the ad’s facts but says it is ‘happy to reconsider the ad once these issues are addressed’. ABC has labeled it as ‘partisan’ and says they have a policy to not sell time for advertising that presents partisan positions.

Well, most Americans are against Obamacare. If ABC and NBC want to be the lapdogs of Obama, and not allow both sides of a hot button issue concerning all Americans be presented on their networks, that is certainly their choice as private companies. And also, as private companies, its ok for ABC to turn its news division over to the White House for a day long ad on Obamacare and NBC to demand the ad be changed to ‘better represent’ the facts (to support Obamacare?). It is also our right to reject the lamestream media for these very reasons. And they wonder why more and more people watch Fox News!
