Let me start this post off by saying: Scotland, you suck. The release of Lockerbie bombing terrorist Abdelbaset Ali al-Megrahi may have just ruined whatever good feelings that America had for Scotland.
Scottish officials released convicted terrorist Abdelbaset Ali al-Megrahi this week. The terrorist murderer who killed 270 people in the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland is dying of cancer. Citing the compassionate desire to allow a man to die with his family, Scottish officials allowed the terrorist to return to Libya. He had only served eight years of his life sentence. That’s right, if you bomb people in Scotland, you may just get eight years in prison.
Scotland, what is wrong with you? How much compassion did this man show when he decided to kill 270 other human beings who had done absolutely nothing to him? This is not justice. This is going to re-ignite all the pain and anger of the families of the victims.
Please see video below of this man being treated as a hero upon his return to Libya. For killing Americans, he is greeted like a rock star at the airport. Clearly, something is wrong over there. Sometimes, I just wish we had turned that country into a big parking lot under Reagan.
To Abdelbaset Ali al-Megrahi: Enjoy one moment of being treated as a hero. Hell is waiting, Abdelbaset Ali al-Megrahi.

This is really stupid and off topic, but what just a question to my fellow bloggers and what’s your stance of Nessie.
August 21st, 2009 at 10:49 am
Nessie is one of the greatest toursim scams of all time. What other reason is there to go to that foggy hole of water in the middle of nowhere? No reason. So they created a fake monster for people to look for.

A talk show host broke it down last night and it equates to 12 days served for each victim. Sad!!!
Talk about off subject? I took a quick look at the picture and thought we were going to have a discussion about leaf lettuce.

Well what do you think of champ or ogopago, because it’s interesting how once Lockness becomes so successful through nessie you get two other monsters which are exactly like it. Yet I do have some belief in Champ, because there was a video that showed champ from a boat that was fairly convincing. As for the Bigfoot video all I have to say is nice suit. Yet when it comes to Monster quest they do have some fairly interesting things on that show.

As this guy deplaned in Libya and the crowd greeted him as a hero this is the perfect time for a drone to lay into them with cluster bombs. Game, set and match.

Hondo..those same thoughts ran through my head when I watched it last night. I just erased Scotland as one of my places to visit before I die. It’s like they sucker punched America.
August 21st, 2009 at 1:29 pm
Hondo, Amen.
Should we consider a “Boycott Scotland” movement? But other than tourism, what else is there to boycott?

I would say, judge ye not, but then I’d be judging you. Which is interesting. I guess that only God can say, “Judge ye not.”
MCCAIN should have written this. It would have been interesting to see how he would have turned it into something against Obama. Obama seems to agree with you.
August 21st, 2009 at 2:17 pm
Obama needs to be stronger in condemnation of this.
He needs to publicly condemn Scottish officials and publicly condemn Libyans. Not a press release, or a statement that says “very disturbed.”

C’mon Ignats!! I’m surprised he didn’t apologize.

The whole of Britain is ashamed of Scotlands SNP who are nothing but a bunch of Marxist renogades, who do not represent Britain. Scotland wake up and support the British National Party. And regain your dignity.
August 21st, 2009 at 3:30 pm
Alright, put on your tin-foil hats here, but are we really sure he’s sick and dying? How “imminent” is his death? There is something that really stinks about this whole situation.
August 21st, 2009 at 6:13 pm
Ryan, he better be dead in 2 months, or we should launch a cruise missile into Scotland.
Scotland better be sure he’s dying. If someone got paid off for this, holy cow, that’s a scandal.

Maybe Johnson was right about Boswell. The Scotchmen have fairly good sheep, but the people are the problem.

List of monster quest monsters I believe in, because the current topic F*** it.
Champ
The Black Beast
Super Rats
Giant Killer Jelly Fish
Killer Monkeys
Now all I have to say about the bigfoot video is I saw that suit at the costume shop near me.
August 21st, 2009 at 6:40 pm
I won’t even ask what Super Rats are. That’s a freaky image.
The Black Beast? Obama supporters will accuse you of racism for saying anything black is negative.
Seriously, what the hell is the Black Beast?
I have trouble believing that any large animal is in this day and age still a secret. I’m happy to be proven wrong, but i’m just skeptical.

As a Scot, I believe this was a wrong thing to do. I am very ashamed that this has been done.
He was tried and found guilty – he should have stayed in prison.
No one showed the passengers or the people of Lockerbie compassion – why should he have this privilege denied to so many.
There may be doubt to whether he is innocent or not, that’s another matter; the fact “we” allowed him to leave a guilty man – guilty in who’s eyes – only ours – certainly not his countrymen.
I believe this ha been a done deal from the start, whether negotiated by Tony Blair or the like to get trade with Libya we may never know but I do believe there is more to this than meets the eye.
If something good will come out of this, it may be to turn Scottish voters against the SNP and return us to a better social conscience.

Boycot scotland??? big feckin deal yanks think they rule the world heres some news YOU DONT!!!f*ck off!!

Ignatius:
Well super rats are rats in NYC that are believed to be almost as big as cats. Now I’ve never seen a rat that large, but go to the bad neighborhoods that can’t afford to clean themselves up. And you get really large rats, because I’ve seen rats that are much bigger than what people claim to be the average rat. The black beast is a black cat that they claim lives in England. Now I would buy that one, because until 1970 there were no regulations on holding tigers. And when they made it illegal to hold them a lot of people were arrested for releasing them into the wild, because it would cost a lot of money to get rid of them.

The “compassionate release” lie was a thin veil for the real quid pro quo. The Lockerbie bomber’s release is one of several payments on Kaddafi’s terrorist extortion demands that secured release of (what Saif al-Islam Kaddafi admitted) were brutally prison raped and tortured EU nurse hostages.

FLASHBACK 2007: Qaddafi Wants Money and Lockerbie Attacker for Nurses’ Release
http://www.novinite.com/view_news.php?id=75328
Muammar Qaddafi has officially stated his conditions for the release of the five Bulgarian nurses and a Palestinian doctor sentenced to death in Libya, a website of the Libyan opposition claims.
Cited by the Bulgarian national radio, the site claims that Qaddafi has sent an official note to the EU country members and the US, requesting compensations for the families of the HIV-infected children and the release of the terrorist from Lockerbie… The UK should help with the release of the Lockerbie bomber, the note also says. He could be released because he has already served his sentence, or he could receive amnesty, or be extradited to Libya, Qaddafi suggests.

This bald-faced hostage extortion payoff does not bode well for Iran’s three American hostages.

Westerners may expect more of this old school hostage extortion game in the future… because it clearly works.
/once again, terrorism pays… handsomely

Is it really too much too ask that our Justice Department serve 187 arrest warrants when Kaddafi steps off his plane in New York next month?
http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/opinion/s_636214.html
What a grotesque irony that Kaddafi will arrive at JFK Intn’l– the Christmas 1988 destination of Clipper Maid of the Seas.
