11-Year-Old Interviews Obama at White House

This is a Right Pundits open talk thread in which you can discuss this story or anything else that suits your fancy. As the president suffers from grown-up critics in the face of plummeting job approval ratings, surely there is a joke to be made out of this interview. Is Barack Obama smarter than the 5th grader?

Damon Weaver of Florida is the lucky baby boy who our president chose to engage. The interview occurred at the White House. As a biography, Damon Weaver is from a fatherless household just like Obama. He lives with his mom in Pahokee which is about 80 miles north of Miami, Florida. There he attends Kathryn E. Cunningham/Canal Point Elementary school.

The Obama interview was posted on YouTube last week and has understandably drawn the interest of kids and adults alike as a presidential curiosity. The time of the president of the United States is perhaps more valuable than any person on earth. That he would choose to spend that time in the company of a child is interesting. By the way, Obama promised to be his “homeboy” whatever that means.

What do you think about this? Is Barack Obama smarter than a 5th grader? Is this Damon Weaver interview a good use of the president’s time? See the 11-year-old interviews Obama video below.
