No significant change this week.
Perhaps it is the news coming from Wall Street. Maybe it is statistical noise. We will need to monitor this data, though.
Look at the data below.
A key statistic is the difference between Excellent/Good and Poor. Look at that data as well. The results are striking.
It is very obvious from this data that the President’s approval regarding the economy has decreased into the 35% to 37% range. It may have dropped even further. We will need to monitor the numbers for the next several weeks to see whether these last couple weeks is the beginning of a new range of support or merely statistical noise.

Well I’m just happy that after obama screw ups it will give the republicans at least two three terms. I mean think about when Carter won they fought the Republicans would shrink into a small regional party, but Carter failed and Reagan ruled. Does that seem similar to what’s happening now.

It way too early to make any prediction on 12 but the same nuts that voted for BO in 08 will vote for him again. Depending on the GOP candidate, it should be a closer race than 08 but it is much too early to count him out.

Well Frank it’s hard to have a high approval rating when you fail at almost everything you try. Well at least he keeps on trying to succeed, because although obama has failed at fixing healthcare, the economy, energy, and he will fail at education he’s bound to succeed at something somewhere along the line.

Mdelf, I couldn’t agree more. It’s never wise to count out the incumbent, but I think if the GOP can present a strong alternative there is a shot.

Ryan..I agree. Charles, I know a lot of people that voted for Barry O, and they wouldn’t vote for him again no matter what. two have said directly to me that even waterboarding wouldn’t change their minds, and they won’t be fooled again.
Let’s hope so.

JoAnne:
If you can find anyone who thinks he’s doing as good or better a job than when they voted for I’ll give you all the money that he has spent in office.

Many good, patriotic, tax paying Americans, of all political stripes, didn’t pay close enough attention to the history of Obama during the campaign. These people were busy, working, parenting, etc., catching sound bites here and there, a speech once in a while, etc. They saw an articulate, smart young man that was pretending to lean toward the center, to be a “moderate”, that was adored by most of the press. He was going to ” reach across the aisle”, bring people together, have “the most transparent administration in history”. Now they see a radical narcissist, with ice water in his veins, attempting to rip the guts out of America, and reshape it to his vision of ” fairness”. The polls will continue to move against him. America is waking up!
