Barrack Obama’s Race Cards remarks Wednesday night during what was to be an infomercial news conference for the health care crisis made up by the Obamanites all a cross America has sparked an outrage with the nation’s cops. His remarks were made after the arrest of close friend and Harvard Professor Henry Gates, who is black, by Cambridge Police after responding to a call from a neighbor seeing two black men trying to force open the front door of the Gates Home. By now we know that Mr. Gates had returned home from a trip to China and discovered he was locked out of his house. So he enlisted the cab driver to help him force open the doors. Most people would be grateful that a neighbor was looking out for them but Mr. Gates saw it a chance to play the Race Card.

The fact that Obama’s remarks were based on the premise that every black man in America is a criminal is false and damanging to all blacks. If that is true, then are we to assume that about Obama? The ripple affect of Obama’s racist remarks are disrespectful of every brave police and law officer in America no matter their race. And there is no defending Obama’s remarks.

Here is what the Community Organizer in Chief said for you liberal Obama apologist. “But I think it’s fair to say, No. 1, any of us would be pretty angry. No. 2 that the Cambridge police acted stupidly in arresting somebody when there was already proof that they were in their own home. And No. 3 what I think we know separate and apart from this incident — is that there is a long history in this country of African-Americans and Latinos being stopped by law enforcement disproportionately, and that’s just a fact.”

It is disproportionately Mr. Obama because most of the crime is committed by African-Americans and Latinos. It is your party that has created that problem. Are we to set quotas for arrest and convictions in the Obama Nation? Good grief! Did we not just elect the first black president in our history? Obama’s remarks just further the racial divide in America. These are remarks I would expect from a self proclaimed black leader not a sitting President of the United States.

In a failed effort to spin this in Obama’s favor, White House spokesmen Robert Gibbs said Thursday that Obama felt that “at a certain point the situation got far out of hand” at Gates’ home. Then later in the day the President told ABC news that, “”From what I can tell, the sergeant who was involved is an outstanding police officer, but my suspicion is probably that it would have been better if cooler heads had prevailed.”

I must agree with the President. Cooler heads should have prevailed. Instead of Henry Gates being uncooperative and yelling at the police about ‘This is want happens to black men in America.” And “You don’t know who you are messing with.” And when asked to step out side to finish their talk because the echo in the kitchen and hall made it difficult for the officer to report details of the call, Mr. Gates in true ghetto style says, “I’ll talk to yo mama outside.” He should have apologized for taking them away from fighting crimes and thanking them for coming and doing their jobs. But he only saw this incident to be about race and not the security of his home and his neighborhood.

A police officer only has few seconds to determine if his life and the lives of other officers are in danger. They do not have time to take a poll or call someone and get a second opinion. In this case Sgt Crowley simply wanted to verify Mr. Gates Identity. It was Gates that yelling at the police. It has been my pleasure to know several police officers in my live and most will tell you they don’t care what race someone is, if you yell or threaten them, you will be arrested.

Now that Obama has played the Race Card I have lost all respect for him not because I don’t like his policies and agendas, but because as the President his remarks where out of line and served no purpose except to stir the race pot again.

At an unexpected appearance at the daily White House briefing Obama told reporters that he has spoken with Crowley over the phone and in a rather stupid remarked he would like to share beer with both Crowley and Gates.

He said he should have chosen his words more carefully. Gee you think. He said “Because this has been ratcheting up and I helped contribute to ratcheting it up, I want to make clear that in my choice of words I unfortunately gave an impression that I was maligning the Cambridge Police Department or Sgt. Crowley specifically and I could have calibrated those words differently.”

He went on to and said, “make sure everybody steps back for a moment” and suggested that this could be a “teachable moment.”

And instead of, “pumping up the volume,” and throwing around allegations and accusations. That we should,” spend more time listening to each other” to “see how we can further improve relations.”

If you really believe that Mr. Obama, then let it start with you and give a real heartfelt apology to the American people for playing the race card. Like all you words, they are hallow and without meaning.

Mr. President if you want this to go away, apology to these brave police officers. And next time get the facts before you start talking.
