How a culture treats its children is a mark of civilization. I realize that the term “civilization” has gone out of use, shelved in the back nooks of musty shelves along with similarly judgmental and politically incorrect terms as “savages.”
But the truth is that a civilization advances when it reaches a higher level of refinement of thought. Nothing can be baser than the total disregard for human life shown when a group goes out to buy and sell children for the purpose of killing them – which is exactly what the Taliban is doing:

“[Mehsud] has turned suicide bombing into a production output, not unlike [the way] Toyota outputs cars,” a U.S. Defense Department official told reporters recently. He spoke on the condition that he not be named because of ongoing intelligence efforts to catch Mehsud, a prime target for a U.S. and Pakistani anti-Taliban campaign.
When I interviewed filmmaker J. D. Johannes at my podcast, he stated that one of the reasons why Iraquis rose against al Qaeda was al Qaeda’s brutality. Nothing in that statement had prepared me to read about this latest maneuver from the Taliban.

Boy am I glad that Islam is a loving peaceful religon or the could really reflect badly on them.
The need to be call “Homicide Bombers” because they don’t just kill themselves, they kill others too.
You would have to be heartless to sell you child for this. I can’t even wrap my head around this type of thinking.

The religion of Islam itself does not condone or encourage suicide bombings whether they are done by children or adults. Those who provoke or incite or encourage people to blow themselves into smithereens are criminal, whether those people they are inciting are young or old or male or female.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace and commendations be upon him) forbade the killing of women and children. The Qur’aan says not to transgress when doing battle against those who fight you.
In addition the Prophet Muhammed (peace and commendations be upon him) said, “…and whoever kills himself with an iron weapon, then the iron weapon will remain in his hand, and he will continuously stab himself in his belly with it in the Fire of Hell eternally, forever and ever”. Reported by al-Bukhaaree, no. 5778 and Muslim, no. 109, in the Book of Eemaan.)
So even suicide is prohibited in Islam in the first place.
Islam did not allow all of these terrorist acts you see. Yes it has been permitted for those people who have been wronged to fight back against those people who invade their lands and transgress upon them, but even fighting has its restrictions. Islam does NOT say to kill everybody and everything in sight and to blow yourself up. Though many in the media would like you to believe that.
It does not matter how many mullahs or muftis or so called ayatollahs give verdicts permitting whatever they permit, as long as it is not in the original revealed texts of Islam, the Qur’aan and the Sunnah, then it is not from Islam ever, no matter how many stupid things some of the Muslims do and no matter how much the western media plays up those stupid things.

SOME INDICATIONS FROM THE ISLAMIC REVEALED TEXTS AND THE STATEMENT OF ANCIENT MUSLIM SCHOLARS THAT THERE ARE RESTRICTIONS AND LIMITS IN WAR, AND THAT ISLAM PLACES VALUE ON INNOCENT HUMAN LIFE.
1) God said in The Qur’aan: “And fight for the sake of Allah those who fight you but do not trangress, Indeed Allah does not love those who transgress.” The Qur’aan, Sura #2, aya #190.
YAZAN’S COMMENT: Note that God permitted fighting but forbade trangressing or going over the limits. And those “limits” are clearly defined in the teachings of Muhammed (peace and commendations be upon him) and the explanations of the Islamic scholars who are knowledgable of the Qur’aan and prophetic teachings as you will see, God willing:
2) The Prophet Muhammed (peace and commendations be upon him) said:
“…fight and do not illegally take part of the war booty, and do not betray, and do not mutilate, and do not kill a child.” — Prophetic narration reported in the Saheeh collection of Imam Muslim in the Book of Jihaad.
3)The close companion of Prophet Muhammed (peace and commendations be upon him) named Abdullah ibn Umar said:
“A woman was found killed in one of the battles, so then the Messenger of Allah (i.e. Muhammed), peace and commendations be upon him, forbade the killing of women and children.”
— Prophetic narration reported in the Saheeh collection of Imam Muslim in the Book of Jihaad the chapter entitled “The Prohibition of Killing women and Children in War.”
4) The Renowned Muslim Scholar Imam An-Nawawi who lived hundreds and hundreds of years before the events of September 11th or modern terrorism said in his commentary on the preceding narration,
“The (Islamic) scholars are in agreement over the application of this narration and the prohibition of killing women and children if they did not fight..”
5) The renowned Muslim Scholar Ibn Katheer, who lived hundreds and hundreds of years before “9-11″ said in his famous explanation of the Qur’aan when commenting on the verse:
“And fight for the sake of Allah those who fight you but do not trangress, Indeed Allah does not love those who transgress.”
IBN KATHEER — “This Means ‘Fight for the sake of Allah and do not transgress when doing that, and the committing of those things which are prohibited is included under that — Just as Al-Hasan Al-Basree (Yazan’s note: Al-Basree was a very early scholar of Islam who learned directly from many of the original Prophetic disciples) said: ‘(and the committing of those things which are prohibited is included under that) from mutilation and illegaly taking from the war booty, and killing women and children and elderly men who’s opinion is not considered (i.e. they have no “say-so”) and have no fight in them (i.e. they do not have the ability to fight), and monks and the people of hermitages, and burning trees and killing animals for other than a beneficial reason… just as Ibn Abbaas (Yazan’s note: one of the most knowledgable prophetic companions), and Umar Ibn Abdul Azeez and Muqaatil Ibn Hayyaan and other than them said. —- End qoute

So you see these are just a few texts that I could bring you to show you that Islam does not promote the killing of innocents or a total disregard for human life as some would like you to believe.
Neither Almighty God (mighty and masjestic is He) in his final Scripture, The Qur’aan, nor His final Messenger Muhammed (peace and commendations be upon him) in his narrations and teachings, The Sunnah, condoned or promoted or incited the recklessness and disorder that we see some of the Muslims falling into these days. Islam is free from what they ascribe to it of evil.

Peter you did not read closely what I said. At no point did I blame anyone else for the Muslims’ actions but themselves. If you re-read what I said you will not find any claims from me that Non-Muslims are dressing up as Muslims and committing these atrocities. Rather I admitted that what these Muslim people are doing is stupid and wrong and criminal. Then further I clarified to you with a verse of Qur’aan and a narration from the Prophet Muhammed (peace and commendations be upon him) and the statements of ancient Muslim scholars what the religion of Islam itself says about these types of actions and that it does not promote them. My point was that Islam is free from the actions of those Muslims who committed those heinous acts.
Your misunderstanding may have come from my statement,

What I mean by this is not to say that people who are non-Muslims are slipping into Pakistan or wherever and blowing themselves up to give Islam a bad name. I am not Dumb. I know some of the Muslims today are doing wacky stuff that is not part of their religion. And I know also that often when those Muslims do those acts the western media is all too often ready to jump on the story right away in order to broadcast it and try to promote the idea to non-Muslims that Islam is what “these people” are upon.
Yes Peter, Muslims are doing these really bad things.
If you know anything about Islam and some of its prohibitions from having had Muslim acquaintances or co-workers in the past you probably know that according to Islam, Muslims aren’t supposed to eat pork.
So now knowing that they aren’t supposed to eat pork, if you see a guy at work named Ali or Hussein buying a Ham and cheese sandwich that is clearly marked “Ham and Cheese” will you then claim that all Muslims are a bunch of pork lovers and Islam promotes pork eating? I hope you would be fair and think to yourself that this guy is doing something that is not according to his religion.
You probably also know that Alcohol is prohibited according to Islam. So now if you see a Muslim guy you know coming out of a liquor store drinking from a brown paper bag, will you then say that Islam promotes drinking Alcohol and Muslims are a bunch of drunks? I hope you would be fair and think to yourself that this guy is doing something against his religion.
For a more extreme example I say to you that I hope you know that Muslims do not worship Jesus or Muhammed (peace and commendations be upon them both), but rather only the Almighty God of both those two men. So if you see a guy who you worked with, who you always thought was Muslim because he has dark skin and an accent and looks “middle-eastern”, pull a cross out of his shirt and start kissing it for good luck or blessings, will you then say that Islam promotes the worship of Jesus (peace be upon him)? My hope is that you would not base your conclusion on the action of a person you thought to be Muslim.
My point, oh Peter, is that I gave you some evidence in my preceding posts that clarify to you that the religion of Islam does not condone suicide bombings and the chaos and murder of innocents that we see SOME Muslims doing. So now would you say that the cause of the actions of the misguided Muslims who do acts of terror is the teachings of the religion they claim to adhere to? If you say, “yes” then what I have posted previously belies your statement and shows otherwise.
The Muslims of modern day times or the past and their actions are not what makes up the religion of Islam. Islam is the teachings themselves and not the people. And the teachings Muslims are supposed to follow are the Qur’aan and the authentic narrations of the Prophet Muhammed (peace and commendations be upon him).
Muslims are humans like anyone else and sometimes they don’t follow what they claim they believe in, just like Mark Sanford says he is Christian, but then he committed what he committed. It would not be right for me to say Christ teaches you adultery and fornication because of the illicit actions of some of your political leaders and clergy.
Even if a bunch of preachers and priests in our modern times who claim to be Christian start giving “fatwas” (i.e. religious verdicts) stating that homosexuality and fornication and adultery are okay, would that make it okay according to the teachings of Jesus (peace be upon him)? Absolutely not.
The religion of Islam is one and non of what the Muslims do will change it, even if their were some or many Muslim “clerics” giving fatwas (i.e. religious verdicts) that certain terrorist acts are permissible, then that will never make those acts permissible according to Islam.
The right and the truth are with Allah (mighty and majestic is He) and the teachings of His Messenger (peace and commendations be upon him) and not with those “clerics” who make erroneous verdicts or those who follow them even if they are many.

I will spare you and your crowd nothing from the truth to the best of my ability, God willing. As for your statement that “You and your gang have done nothing”. Than I ask you in whose countries are all these suicide bombings taking place nowadays!!!?
It is in the Muslim countries themselves!! Some people who claim Islam are intentionally killing other Muslims not just foreign troops! And the authorities in the those Muslim countries do what they can to combat terrorism actually physically, and often Muslim soldiers and police loose their lives in these attempts.
And the Muslim Scholars of this world have been warning against terrorism and rebellion and chaos and suicide bombings and other than that of these matters well before “9-11″.
Islam and Muslim scholars condemn all this terrorism, even if you don’t see it because you are not a Muslim and you don’t read the plethora of Islamic material wherein Muslim scholars and students of Islamic knowledge rebuke and refute fellow Muslims for the heinous acts that they do and warn people against them and because you don’t have knowledge of the different discussions and arguments and condemnations and clarifications that Muslims make between themselves.
The #1 victims of the terrorism that SOME Muslims perpetrate in terms of sheer numbers is indeed the Muslims. So they are not only in danger of being victims of random suicide bombings and acts of terror done by other Muslims but they are also at risk of being the victims of the drone attacks and 500 pound bombs and cluster bombs and missile strikes and artillery fire and all that so-called “Christian/Western peace, love, and freedom” that occupying powers provide to them. I swear to the God of Christ this “peace, love, and freedom” you dump on these people is not from the true message of Christ (peace be upon him) it is a message of Satan.
