Welcome to this week’s Right Pundits caption contest. This week we feature the unfunny ‘funny man’ David Letterman.
David Letterman
David Letterman made news this week when he made off color (downright vulgar) ‘jokes’ about Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin’s 14-year-old daughter being raped and ‘knocked up’ by Alex Rodriquez at a Yankees game she attended for charity with her mother.
He apparently thought his jokes were funny, but most people thought it was more than a little on the perv side and certainly misogynistic, disrespectful to a sitting governor of our largest state, and just plain icky.
So can you caption this photo of the not at all funny funny man?

Also, just wanted to say, Letterman can be a pretty funny dude sometimes. His A-Rod jokes weren’t particularly good, but he’s done plenty of good work over the decades he’s been on.

I have never thought of Letterman as a comedian or interesting pundit so I don’t watch him. I am sure he gets paid well for whatever it is he does but to me its just boring on so many levels. Its not the politics, its the lack of anykind of showmanship or myrth to my eyes or ears. Its a channel less traveled in my media book and I am none the worse for it.

Letterman is lame..hasn’t apologized…his statement on the matter said that the joke was aimed at the Palin 18 year old..wasn’t at game…the 14 year old was. A man over 60 years making jokes about 14 tear olds getting knocked up…disgraceful…he should be fired or made to beg on his knees for forgiveness.
