Mary Matalin, the longsuffering wife of James Carville, is joining him on the cable news channel CNN as a political strategist. The good news here is that Mary is such an effective Republican pundit (and completely fearless), that she alone can take on 3 or 4 Democratic strategists in one panel!

Mary Matalin is also a veteran TV commentator having worked for CNN a number of years ago as a co-host of the old ‘Crossfire’ show. She is considered one of the best known and well connected strategists in the business.
