Not only does the Obama Administration plan to release captured enemy combatants from Guantanamo Bay into the United States, but they also want to give the terrorists some of your hard earned money in the form of welfare! A few days after the Obama Administration came into power, Vice President Joe Biden went on the Sunday talk shows and said Gitmo detainees be not be released into this country. You can watch a video of Joe’s performance below.
Then mere weeks later, we had Attorney General Eric Holder announce that some of the Gitmo detainees would ‘possibly’ be released in this country — but only on a case by case basis.
Now, barely 2 months after the Vice President said that these terrorists would ‘not be released’ into our neighborhoods, National Intelligence Director Dennis Blair has said in his first news conference, that not only would some of the Gitmo detainees be ‘released’ (as opposed to held) in this country but that we (you and I) would get the priviledge of paying for them to stay:
During his news conference, Blair also said the Obama administration is still wrestling with what to do with the remaining 240 detainees at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base, which the president has ordered closed.
Some of the detainees, deemed non-threatening, may be released into the United States as free men, Blair confirmed.
That would happen when they can’t be returned to their home countries, because the governments either won’t take them or the U.S. fears they will be abused or tortured. That is the case with 17 Uighurs (WEE’-gurz), Chinese Muslim separatists who were cleared for release from the jail long ago. The U.S. can’t find a country willing to take them, and it will not turn them over to China.
Blair said the former prisoners would have to get some sort of assistance to start their new lives in the United States.
“We can’t put them out on the street,” he said.
Good Grief – this is like a parallel universe under Obama! Maybe the Uighurs were not master-terrorists like Khalil Sheik Mohammed but they were recruits with the intent to become terrorists by training in a terrorist camp of Bin Laden.
So now, not only is the Obama Administration planning on freeing some detainees on U.S. soil, it is also going to pay them to live here. Who would have thought that we would see the day when detainees who were once labeled ‘enemy combatants’ under one administration would be receiving welfare from the next?
They should have been dropped on the battlefield but they weren’t. Send them back to China or back to Tora Bora where they were picked up by our military. We owe them nothing. And at the risk of sounding like Glenn Beck, I want my country back!

Technically, these people were kidnapped under the guise of “enemy combatants” but who knows as its such a mish mash of humanity over there in those foreign country “battlefields”. They were held incommunicado in the hole on a carribean Island without any legal representation or rights or even hearings. They were physically and psychologically “stressed” locked into stress positions for many hours while interrogated and had rock and roll played into their ears for days at a time which is absolutely satanic to them. There was no due process. Some were kidnapped on the word of one person over there that simply wanted money or to get rid of them for personal or business or tribal reasons. There has been a lot on this. Some were bad guys but the number of “bad guys” we are sure we have is a small number of the total. What you are advocating is denial of due process, basic human rights, and you don’t care. Its your soul your putting so on the line here. You are advocating international kidnapping, rendering, and disappearing of people without any kind of due process. Isn’t that a moral failing? You don’t see that at all? You should care as you have been duped to fall in with the devil. This is just an example of the kind of damage the last administration did to our morals. If you kidnap someone you owe them some dowry or restitution as just basic moral behavior as you have destroyed their lives, livelihood, relationships, and orientation. And you don’t see that? That is amoral behavior if you don’t notice, yet you want to sit in judgement of these “others” and rob from them thie lives and wealth and livelihood. What are they going to do? work in a cigarette stand in the city? drive a cab? A number of these people were just plain sold to us and are really unlucky.

This sort of points out what I would call, the creepiness of the Right. You would use anything, do anything, say anything, to attack Obama.
It’s scary. It reminds me of fascism. Nothing is sacred.
At least when Bush was attacked, it was based on fact, and not on silly BS like this.
I hope they send all the supposed terrorists being unleased upon our society by the Obama administration to your house. You and they are one in the same.
Here is an idea: Instead of trying to appeal to people’s ignorance and fear, why don’t you sponsor some sort of serious debate on the issues? Something that makes a little sense.
