Conservative talk radio host and TV personality, Glen Beck will be joining the Jonas Brothers at the 2009 Stadium of Fire in Provo, Utah this July 4th. Tickets went on sale Friday online at the BYU ticket office. Read more, see photos and video below.
Executive producer for the show, Brad Pelo announced that talk show host Glen Beck will be master of ceremonies for the third year; and headliners for the event on July 4th will be the Jonas Brothers. Last year Miley Cyrus sold the concert out in record time. Pelo is hoping that the recession this year will not hamper the Jonas Brothers from doing the same.
The Stadium of Fire is an annual event that takes place in Provo, Utah the week of July 4th. Many say that it is America’s greatest celebration of our independence. Tickets went on sale Friday online at the BYU ticket office as well as those who wanted could stand in line for a couple hours prior to the tickets actually going on sale. Fans were permitted to wait in line at 3p.m. before the tickets officially became available at 5. Last year, the tickets sold out in a matter of minutes.
Glen Beck, talk show host who also has his own TV show on Fox News, has been a big supporter of the Stadium of Fire; often talking about it on his nationally syndicated show, and serving as master of ceremonies for the third time this year. From the Salt Lake Tribune:
Speaking in a video shown to reporters, Kevin Jonas said he and his brothers were looking forward to the show. “It’s actually America’s greatest patriotic party,” Jonas said.
The Jonas Brothers are one of the nation’s hottest acts right now with a wide ranging audience from pre-teens to adults. To go online and buy your tickets, if you can make the trip to Utah, you can go here.

How could someone as great as Glenn Beck could be with someone as bad as the Jonas Brothers. Oh yah would anyone like to make a bet on how long it will be in till one of the Jonas Brothers are caught breaking the law. I’m guessing they’ll probably be caught with drugs either that or some sex scandal will happen. I mean we can all agree that there going to turn into the celebrity’s that we had in our youth. Meaning they will turn into a group of deadbeats who do drugs spend like crazy and spend most of there days banging teenage hoars.

Oh also I love southern music for one reason. All of the singers vote Republican. Even though the actual music sucks.

Just FYI all you right fundies, Glen Beck is a libertarian who recently supported re-thinking the war on drugs in light of the situation in Mexico.
This should in no way scare you away from him of course. If conservatives are going to become powerful again they need to forget about all the rhetoric and posturing and focus on doing things that actually work and make sense (and are consistent with the Constitution’s philosophy of individual liberty). Ending the drug war certainly fits this description.
So by all means, support Mr. Beck, but listen to him too.
