An Asian woman screams, yells and throws a super-sized hissy fit when she misses her flight at a Hong Kong airport.
The over-wrought woman assaults airport personnel. She collapses on the floor and two men attempt to get her to her feet – but she is having none of it!
Reportedly, she was bound for San Francisco on a Cathay Pacific flight.
She boarded another flight a few hours later. Good thing she wasn’t in an American airport. A “few hours later,” she would have been enjoying a straight jacket.
I personally know this angst, although mine isn’t acted out – each time the carry-on check reveals my forgotten and expensive manicure scissors – which end up in the trash. I’m smart enough to know that I’m at fault for not following the rules…not the airline’s.

While I don’t speak Asian, I am sure she was having a fit over Obama’s package.
I think I heard her say, ‘I want more Obama package. I go home. I been here all day’.

I agreed with that 100%. In Hong Kong, passengers are treated as human beings, not cattle that are treated with disdain by airport staff. I can’t say I support her reaction, but then, which of us have not felt angry and frustrated at the delays, surly staff and lost baggages each time we fly?

America’s most funniest is calling!!! Simon is having her fly out for Idol…ratings ratings ratings. I say maybe she forgot to taker her V8. Do her tea leaves read acting?

An American woman who did something along those lines in Phoenix airport was handcuffed and left alone and she choked to death trying to get out of the cuffs as there was no-one watching the prisoners. Turns out she was a legitamate passenger with a loving family back east, middle class background, and having some personal problems that made her get angry at the security personnel who then tackled and cuffed her. There was no nurse at the airport to check on health issues affecting prisoners. The lady never got home to see her family again, and this happened in America.
