Went over to YouTube to look for something lighthearted for Christmas. So I ran into the video below, and then I ran into it again, and then again, and again, and again. So I played it and was at first mildly amused at Jesus singing. Then he turns into a slob, and then Our Lord and Savior gets run over by a bus. Yes, a bus. And all the while singing “I Will Survive.”
If you do this search on YouTube, you will run into this video a total of 180 times. That’s right, 180 different people took the time to load it when once is more than enough. And it has been viewed collectively about 5 million times. Fine with me if that many people want to attack my religion. I’m a big boy and can handle it. Been there, done that. Used to it.
My problem is with the YouTube community and their management. As best I can tell, not ONE of those 180 superfluous videos has been tagged as possibly offensive in YouTubes rating system. And yet, if a video shows a couple of girls kissing or a normal photoshoot of a model, the liberal feminists at YouTube are all over it with a hammer. Daniela Cicarelli’s paparazzi “Sex on the Beach” video, which actually doesn’t show anything mildly interesting, was outright banned in one day. Why? I guess the feminists think she is too cute.
Any video of a model doing what they do, you know, modeling, has a good chance of getting flagged by the YouTube feminists as inappropriate content for their viewers. And here we have an attack on the prophet of Christianity which gets not just a pass on YouTube, but gleefully welcomed 180 separate times. Try putting up a video composite of Muhammad’s Danish cartoons, just once, and watch the politically correct liberals at YouTube have convulsions.
I Will Survive
Watch Jesus Run Over by a Bus
180 Times on YouTube
Joy to the world. Merry Christmas. Now go watch your backs.

I’ve seen the video – it was funny !
now here’s a question for you -
WHO WAS THIS GOD?
- God was his father
- He was born in a cowshed.
- A human woman, a virgin, was his mother.
- His birth was prophesized by a star in the heavens.
- At a marriage ceremony, he performed the miracle of converting water into wine.
- He was powerless to perform miracles in his hometown.
- His followers were born-again through baptism in water.
- He rode triumphantly into a city on a donkey. Tradition records that the inhabitants waved palm leaves.
- He had 12 disciples.
- He was accused of licentious behavior.
- He was killed near the time of the Vernal Equinox, about MAR-21.
- He died “as a sacrifice for the sins of the world.”
- He was hung on a tree, stake, or cross.
- After death, he descended into hell.
- On the third day after his death, he returned to life.
- The cave where he was laid was visited by three of his female followers.
- He later ascended to heaven.
- His titles: God made flesh. Savior of the world Son of God.
- He is “God made man,” and equal to the Father.
- He will return in the last days.
- He will judge the human race at that time.
- Humans are separated from God by original sin. The godman’s sacrificial death reunites the believer with God and atones for the original sin.
Did you guess Jesus Christ? Well, again you’d be WRONG!! HE WAS… OSIRIS-DIONYSUS, an Egyptian God that existed thousands of years before Christ allegedly came around

Its not funny. Its stupid, poor taste, reckless, degrading and insulting, very disrespectful to Christians and the Christian church. Jesus represents love, peace, forgiveness and faith. I’m not a Christian but I find this stuff should not be on youtube. I also do not like insults disguised as hate to Jews, Muslims or Atheists alike. It should be considered hate material and the makers of this video should be prosecuted by law severely.

Oh, come one, that is really funny. Especially the bus. I wish you wouldn’t have spoiled the surprise ending, though. How come you are posting the video yet blowing the punchline, anyhow? Delete it if you don’t like it.

Ah yes Donna, about as funny as Michael Richards yelling racial slurs at black people. HA HA! Right? Hey did you hear the one about the rabbi, the priest, and the mullah meeting in a gas chamber? HA HA. So funny! Just turn George Bush off the television if you don’t like him. Right?
But I’m afraid you are missing the point of the post, which is about culture, liberals, feminists, and the attack on Christmas. And more specifically, it is about liberal bias at YouTube. Do you have anything of value to say on that topic?
Richard – thanks for stopping by.
Michele – all historian agree Jesus Christ existed based on contemporary accounts and records. Do you also deny the Holocaust happened, you funny little historical revisionist? Some people just hate, hate, hate the religions of others. Your hatred is warping your perception of reality.

Jesus existed that is a certainty, he was a Jew, the Romans crucified him on the insistence of the Jewish high priesthood, in those days it was revolt after revolt against the authority of Rome. The Jewish religion and the Christian religion are very close except that the Jewish is exclusive (Jews only) and the christian inclusive (anybody)I think he was a politician, in those days all leaders were either Gods or related to, Julius Cesar was a descendant of Enneus and the most important priest in Rome. This may come as a surprise (???) but this region was in trouble in these days, the wars between the Philistines and the Jews, and the Americans (oops) Romans were trying to find solutions with the Hamas and the PLO (oops again) and sent Condol (oops) Pontius Pilatus to crucify Jesus. Crucifixion was a common practice for criminal and slaves. They finally sent Petraeus (oops) Flavius Vespasianus to settle the problem in AD 70 (they left one wall standing in Jerusalem so they could cry on it).
Research in archeology and history finds faults with most ancient writers, Herodotus, Livy, Suetone, Polybius and especially Flavius Josephus on his Jewish wars book. I’m not saying these writers were lying but they relied on hearsay and seldom verified sources. So How can one accept the bible and testaments as the truth?

Those who have a relationship (NOT religion) with God through His Son Jesus Christ do not need to defend God; they want to share the good news (which is what “gospel” means) of a full, free pardon, available to all who want it, and a personal relationship with the One who designed us, cares for us, and wants us to be all that He created us to be. Those who do not have this relationship with God, regardless of their religion, will not find any amount of “proof” to be sufficient to truly convince them that He matters, which is why so many “religious” people don’t let what they profess to believe influence how badly they live their lives.
As demonstrated in some of the comments here, people readily accept as fact things of which they have no firsthand knowledge, or even any familiarity with the secondhand evidence that exists. (Raise your hand if you’ve ever actually read anything by Marie Curie.) There are still people who believe that the moon landings were done in a Hollywood sound stage — but among them you will NOT find the men who personally set foot on the moon. Why? Because you cannot deny that which you have personally experienced.
Millions of people who have no idea how a television works still sit in front of one for hours every day and believe what they see. Millions of people who have no idea of how God works think they are qualified to say He does not exist, even though they have never made the slightest effort to connect with Him. (Lew Wallace, the author of _Ben_Hur_, set out to prove that Christianity was a hoax — and after an exhaustive personal study, became a Christian himself. What have you honestly done to confront the facts?)
Consider: fewer than 0.0000001% of the world’s population ever met my great-great-grandmother (I never did), but _I_ am evidence that she did indeed live. I’m even willing to accept that _your_ great-great-grandmother lived. Now try to prove it, WITHOUT using yourself as proof. You may not even be able to find her name! Now, talk to any of the millions who KNOW that God is real!
To those who choose atheism as their belief system, well, have a great life. I am truly sorry we won’t be seeing you when it’s over. We’ll be with our Father.
