Nancy Pelosi is the Speaker of the House and a loyal supporter of Barack Obama. One could perhaps forgive her for stretching the truth a little bit to gain support for Barack Obama’s highly criticized $900 Billion stimulus package. However, she has twice claimed that without Obama’s stimulus plan, America will lose 500 million jobs. Yes, 500 MILLION.
Nancy Pelosi: 500 Million jobs will be lost
Some Democrats are exaggerating the country’s economic woes in an effort to gain bipartisan support for Barack Obama’s fading stimulus package. As we reported here, the GOP revealed that the package is filled with ridiculous pork projects, and Obama is having trouble regaining momentum behind his plan.
Nancy Pelosi seems to be taking exaggeration to another level. On January 18th on Fox News Sunday, Nancy Pelosi stated that 500 million jobs would be lost unless Obama’s stimulus package was passed by Congress. Chris Wallace corrected her, stating she probably meant 500,000 jobs. Pelosi responded in her own defense, “It feels like 500 million.” The population of the United States is 303 million, Ms. Pelosi.
“Some 500,000 Americans will lose their jobs each month until we have a recovery package,” she then said to correct herself.
Hey, everyone makes mistakes, right?
Then, in a speech that is making its way around the blogs this week, including Michelle Malkin’s, Pelosi stated AGAIN that “every month that we do not have an economic recovery package 500 million Americans lose their jobs.”

Even if we forgive her slip of the tongue, I contest that even her underlying 500,000 jobs claim is suspect. Is she saying that without a stimulus package, America will shed 500,000 jobs a month for the foreseeable future? Even six months from now, when most economists predict the recession will be over? Even two years from now? Nonsense. This is the same ridiculous scare tactic that liberals spewed when gas prices were at $4.50 a gallon. Remember, without government intervention, gas prices would be $7.00 a gallon by now? It never happened.
Let’s hope that reasonable people won’t be swayed by these scare tactics.

It is amazing that she is 2 heartbeats away from being president.
Given what is in “Obama Spending Bill 2009″, I want to know how that saves my job or anyone elses job?
All the job they are “Creating” are government jobs not private sector jobs.
Further, it is amazing how many people are buying whatever they are saying. They are not questioning any of the so called facts they are giving.
Here is a fact for you libs. Our economy is a private endeavour and should not be messed with by the government. Remember they are the ones that gave us Social Security and spent the money. Medicare and spent the money. Amtrack, welfare, trade with China, and the list goes on and on.
They are hoping for a depression so they can stay in power like FDR did. We need some conservatives with a large set of stones and a spine to stand up and tell us the truth.
I wish someone would run against Queen Nancy and win big and send her dumb butt back home for good.

You do realize that this woman is third (3rd) in line to the presidency, right? Can you imagine her negotiating across the table with the likes of Putin, Ahmadinejad, Ma Ying-jeou of China, etc? We may as well just throw in the towel now. We’re toast.
But the election was fun, wasn’t it? We put the Dems in control of everything, but they’ll still blame Bush when they screw it up.
My thought is that this is like waking up with a woman you took home from the bar the night before while you were hammered only to have sobered up and now realize that you just slept with something out of a horrible freak show. Good luck, USA. We’re going to need it!

Well this is how it works the top 5 worst people in DC. Number 5 Joe Biden well thats pretty self explanatory. Number 4 Harry Reid for wanting to give welfare to illegals and a bunch of other crap. Number 3 Hillary Clinton for being the worst senator NY has ever seen raising taxes and not keeping promises, but that doesn’t even compare to the crap she’s doing a Secretary of State. Number 2 Obama for being the worst piece of crap with the poorest policies I have ever seen in office, but he’s not nearly as bad as the woman he’s listening to. Number 1 Nancy Pelosi for destroying the economy threw increased spending and outlawing offshore drilling in America.
Now I do want to put Obama as number 1, but lets give him another weak or two than will get rid of him.

When campaigning Obama said he wanted this package ready to go on inauguration day.
That right there was what gave Pelosi and congress the license to do what they’ve done.
Nothing like a nice heads up for the folks in congress so they could start packin on the goodies.
Then comes the second part of the scheme.
Start throwing panic around like it was confetti, telling everyone to hurry up, its vital that we must pass this bill immediately or catastrophe will ensue.
Think about it, thats all we’ve heard from the left for the last 2 weeks.
Much like a used car salesman trying to rush a sale on you buy saying someone else wants the car, they’re on their way down !!!
Now we have people who actually had a chance to look at it before they blew it past us and those people are saying no freaking way. Next, we see that the more exposure this bill gets the less popular it gets, on both sides.
Finally we have this last act of desperation coming from Pelosi whos had all her dreams for the last month shot straight to hell so shes sounding a new and bigger alarm.
In the meantime we were all supposed to be distracted by appointees, whom half of Obama knew damn well would never pass the sniff test but figured maybe we wouldnt pay attention to this huge flim flam going on under our noses.

The idea that America will lose over 500 Million jobs is just stupid. We only have a population of about 300 million, so obviously over half of America will lose their jobs twice. This is so stupid, and the idea that this lady is in 3rd in line from the Presidency. This lady is Easily the worst politician in the country, and she deserves to lose 500 million jobs, just her.
