Ann Coulter broke her jaw and it is being reported that she’s had to have it wired shut. Read about it below and see photos and a video.
The word is out that Ann Coulter broker her jaw sometime in the last month and now Page 6 is reporting that she’s had to have it wired shut. Coulter’s enemies think that’s hilarious. While I have been roaming around the internet trying to find out HOW she broke her jaw, I’ve been treated to a potpourri of snide and joyously clever comments about Ann Coulter’s jaw and how breaking her jaw is the only way to shut her up.
We all know that Coulter jumps the shark occasionally, but that’s what she does. Its why she’s famous and how she’s made her money. There’s no question that she makes statements to get a reaction and goes over the top more frequently than not. Still, she makes it pretty much impossible to ignore her and she does illicit debate …. regardless of whether you love or hate her. Very few people are lukewarm when it comes to Coulter.
My biggest problem with her was her ranting about refusing to vote for John McCain and how she’d rather vote for Hillary Clinton. Unfortunately, a lot of people felt that way. Some just stayed home from voting and others wasted their votes with ‘protest’ votes. That’s how we ended up with a democratic Congress in 2006, which lead to the financial mess we are in today, which lead to McCain’s defeat in the general election, which lead to our near-future President who sashays out in front of the cameras for a ‘news conference’ daily while standing behind a sign declaring him to be from the ‘Office of the President Elect’. That’s what happens with ‘protest votes’ and Ann Coulter contributed to that in my opinion.
Still, you have to give her kudos for having guts and verve. She’ll go toe to toe with whoever and gives as good as she gets. Many of her controversial statements are not as controversial when they are put into the context of whatever point she is making. But then, using a sound byte out of context is a much better way of minimizing her influence.
Okay, back on topic. When and how did Coulter break her jaw?? I can’t seem to find any information on that. I do know that she was dating a liberal democrat recently – oddly. Of course, that’s not relevant … don’t know why it crossed my mind. The word is that she fell. Fell where? How? When? It just seems odd to break one’s jaw in a fall. Most people would break an arm or shoulder trying to catch themselves as they fell. You’d have land on your face without breaking your fall to break your jaw. Odd.
If all this proves to be true then the left is fairly ecstatic that the polemic Coulter is silenced, at least temporarily. The thing they seem to not be taking into account is the fact that she makes her living writing. Her jaw won’t have an affect on her writing, unless it just makes her angrier and more irritated. If that is the case, then I think a lot of people might do well to be considering taking shelter.

@25 – Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t realize that this was just a big troll party. Yeah, I guess I am reactionary when I hear people being TOTALLY IGNORANT 4$$HOLE5!
I’m mad, what’s your point? Are you trying to tell me I’ve got nothing to be mad about? Are we really still not sure just how completely and totally crappy the management of our country has been for the past eight years?
Don’t try to pigeonhole me as some “liberal” fruitcake, I hate the Dems just as much.
I’m never going to be able to retire, I’ll be working until I’m dead. Goodbye social security, oh, I’m sorry, or did you forget that the boomers are starting to retire. The current plan is to hope that my generation is big enough and productive enough to pay for the retirement of those idiots who elected the ones that got us into this mess. Hope.
We’ll see how that works out.
Personally, I’m really looking forward to getting the crap kicked out of me while I’m being robbed by all those destitute vets with PTSD that our government hoodwinked into “serving the country” with empty promises of free college and great pay. Thanks Bush, at least I can be happy that I’m doing my part to help the medical care industry stay in the black.
I’m pissed that the democrats don’t have the ball to investigate the Bush administration. Pissed. Like, so much I want to punch the nearest person when I think about it. And if you cared at all for the constitution and rule of law you would be too. Otherwise, you haven’t been paying enough attention.
We should all hold our elected officials to a higher standard. We , as human beings, deserve to have leaders that will take care of us when we can’t. This is community, ever heard of it.
We should go to sleep at night KNOWING that we’re being looked after. Who was looking after the people in New Orleans? How is it that we all looked the other way when people died because of the incompetence of those chosen to help us. We let our leader appoint someone who was not even fit to run a horse show to be the guy responsible for emergency management. You should be pissed, and if you’re not, you’re either stupid or ignorant.
November 26th, 2008 at 8:34 pm
Yea Jesse, right.
Whats any of that got to do with you not having a sense of humor and Anns jaw being wired shut ?
“Don’t try to pigeonhole me as some “liberalâ€? fruitcake, I hate the Dems just as much.”
I didnt have to try very hard at all as you seem to have an eight year hard on for Bush and laid exceptions for Obama.
They wont investigate Bush, especially if you’re gonna go the war crime route because most of the dems voted for the same war(s) based on all the same evidence.
Asking for that kind of action makes it abundantly clear how ignorant you are of recent history
“We should all hold our elected officials to a higher standard. We , as human beings, deserve to have leaders that will take care of us when we can’t. This is community, ever heard of it.”
Sounds more like you would like some communist regime to hold your hand for you.
Our country was founded on individualism and the rights of “one man” not a collective that covers the a$$es of those who think its someone elses responsabilty to take care of them.
“We let our leader appoint someone who was not even fit to run a horse show to be the guy responsible for emergency management. You should be pissed, and if you’re not, you’re either stupid or ignorant.”
You my man are one of the many idiot ignoramouses that doesnt realize the fault in Katrina layed with state and local authorities and their first responders.
Yea, we all have the right to be pi$$ed. But if you dont channel that anger at the ones who are actually responsable and not the ones that thge looney left handbook tells you to, you are no better than the idiots who just elected the most unqualified man ever to hold office due to the same kind of misinformation.
So please, dont talk to me about paying attention as you dont even know what the protcol is for our elected officials, branchs of government, emergency responders or what the facts are.
Aloha.
November 26th, 2008 at 9:28 pm
Wow, thank you Google for turning over the rock under which all these right-wing nut jobs were hiding.
Sorry I won’t be making a post of anything substantive. This just isn’t a place where honest debate occurs, so why bother (Super Jesse, take a hint). I’m just enjoying watching you knuckle-draggers commiserate, spewing your venom no matter how hollow it rings.
Here’s a hint: that tact won’t help you in in 2010 or 2012. But please, do go on with the divisive talk and promoting wedge issues. While you’ll end up with a non-trivial number of folks frothing at the mouth to support such rhetoric, you’ll also find yourself further in the minority.
I’ll enjoy reading every word of it, go ahead.
November 26th, 2008 at 9:34 pm
can we have her whole face wired shut – eyes, nostrils, ears – the works?
November 26th, 2008 at 11:59 pm
So Laughing.
You’re mocking divisiveness yet you found a story about Anns jaw being wired shut interesting ?
“Sorry I won’t be making a post of anything substantive.”
You could say that.
Take it easy bro.
Superjesse couldnt have an honest debate if his life depended on it simply because he doesnt know what hes talking about.
I dont think he’ll get your hint any more than he gets facts.
Since you’re such an authority on honest debate maybe you could enlighten us all as to what it is that rings so hollow ?
Your ability to actually controvert anything I or anyone else has said ?
Probably not. You see, its because you’re actually the one whos just droppin by spewing hollow sh*t whos only interest is to make some kind of appearance that resembles you havin any valid point to make.
All your party has done for the last two years is spew divisive crap about the right and now that you have your clown on stage you’re all of a sudden the party of ethical discourse inviting us all to be a part of the second coming.
Got news for you.
At least on my part, I dont pretend to be anything other than divisve when faced with morons like you who went and elected what is quite possibly the most unqualified man ever simply out of hate for a man who wont be president again no matter what.
In 2010 and 2012 there will be plenty more divisiveness. But I have a feeling it will be between members of your own party as you beat the crap out of each other trying to figure out who to blame for the party eating itself from the inside out.
Yea, you pretty much said nothing.
Guess you have some underlying need to get something off your chest ?
Feel better now ?
Vaporland.
Is that moniker reflective of the commune you live in, all runnin around sniffin each others a$$ess complementing the bouqet ?
November 27th, 2008 at 11:21 am
Obama is the president-elect. Get over your loss. It was a very big, very decisive win.
Americans are stupid, yes, but they got it right this time.
John McCain is a decent person but he ran an awful, awful campaign, which shows the type of president he would have been.
If you can’t run a decent campain, how the heck can you expect to run the country?
Obama proves he has what it takes.
Blame the GOP for its own short-comings, not those who supported Obama.
November 27th, 2008 at 11:34 am
More food for thought: So, Obama supporters are stupid? Well, I’ve certainly seen my fair share of rac*st McCain supporters. Did any of you see those McCain rallies; for instance, the haggard old lady who referred to Obama as a “Muslim” and an “Arab”? McCain had to grab the mic from her and tell her that she’s wrong; further, when McCain scolded the crowd and told them that Obama was a “decent man,” the crowd booed.
Not all McCain supporters are r*cist, but it sure spoke volumes when viewing those rallies.
November 27th, 2008 at 12:56 pm
Oh Patrick, it’s not a matter of “blame.” It’s a matter of fact. The Zogby poll proved that Obama voters ARE stupid. Not just a little bit. Amazingly, gloriously, fantastically ignorant about the issues and the candidates. The sort of people who think that the “office of the president-elect” is a constitutional position. That may be “what it takes” for Obama to get elected, but not the sort of thing to publicly glorify. Begin hiding now if you are in that category of ignorant morons who voted for our nation’s most unqualified president in history, who rather than help our financial crisis hid from the issue by resigning his Senate seat early. He is fearful and a failure already. Now go pick on Zogby for his poll which scientifically proved that Obama voters are stupid. Don’t shoot the messenger. And may God bless your heart on this happy Thanksgiving day.
November 27th, 2008 at 1:51 pm
MCCAIN – THAT! was HILARIOUS! Did you say, A “sexist, incompetent, crackhead about to leeeeave office?” HAHAHA LOL, Now no truer words have ever been spoken. And he’s drinking again too!

Whew! Can’t wait til that bumb’s gone! Even the immigrants want him out!
November 27th, 2008 at 2:01 pm
And I don’t agree with people who say liberals don’t have a sense of humor. We’ve been laughing at Sarah Palin for months now. Hope she runs in 2012. Seems like the kind of person republicans would like to have a beer with.
November 27th, 2008 at 3:21 pm
Sunshine.
A true sense of humor is when you can laugh at yourself.
You have no idea what you’re missing out on.
Pat;
“Obama is the president-elect. Get over your loss. It was a very big, very decisive win.”
What a bunch of crap. The numbers say it was anything but big.
57/43 bro. wake up.
“Americans are stupid, yes, but they got it right this time.”
Yea, a clock is right twice a day ?
“John McCain is a decent person but he ran an awful, awful campaign, which shows the type of president he would have been.”
Soooo Bush ran a really good campaign and he was just as great, right ?
“If you can’t run a decent campain, how the heck can you expect to run the country?”
This is completely ignorant.
Campaigning has none of the elements rquired to lead the country.
Campaigning is all Obama has done.
“Obama proves he has what it takes.”
Platitudes, lies and empty promises are proof ?
“Blame the GOP for its own short-comings, not those who supported Obama.”
He aint that great or effective, we would do no such thing.
BUT !
In about 2 months you’ll have no one to blame but you and your messiah.
This is gonna be fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun
If you’re talking about “illegal immigrants” then you truly are a couple of quarts low if yoiu think that matters.
If you’re talking about legal immigrants you need your head slapped
November 27th, 2008 at 4:07 pm
Jumps the shark “occasionally”?
That’s like saying Stalin was a bit unbalanced once in a while.
November 27th, 2008 at 5:03 pm
LMAO @ Mickey. You seem to have a lot of knowledge about nothing.
that makes you ummmm….qualified to run for mayor of Wasilla? You Betcha!
November 27th, 2008 at 11:35 pm
If you would like to test my knowledge then you would actually try to prove a point.
Whoever you are (sunshine) , you have done nothing but make yourself look really stupid as that mayor is now a governor with a 70% approval rating and managed to be on a presidential ticket.
Tell me, what in your comment proved that you know anything besides moonbat trolling techniques ?
Go ahead schmuck, pick a topic, I dare you.
By the way, if you are sunshine, I suggest you review the comment policy about posting under different names.
November 28th, 2008 at 12:32 am
“What a bunch of crap. The numbers say it was anything but big. 57/43 bro. wake up.”
well, that actually is pretty big, almost but not quite reagan-like.
November 28th, 2008 at 12:38 am
surprisingly, obama won by almost exactly the same margin as bush I in 1988 8%
reagan won by 9%
November 28th, 2008 at 1:06 am
“Jumps the shark occasionally”
“illicit debate”
I find your prose inconceivable.
As a conservative who cringes in anticipation anytime Coulter opens her mouth, I find the poetic justice quite funny.
Of course I don’t wish her anything but a speedy recovery. She has my sympathy as would anyone that is injured. But still, it’s damn funny.
November 28th, 2008 at 1:59 am
Gee it could not have happened to a better person. It’s not like she made any sense or had anything to say that was worth hearing anyway so let the anorexic fool keep talking. Whatever happened I hope it was quite painful and tragic, and my your boy hannity and fat rush meet the same fate.
November 28th, 2008 at 6:25 am
Sushine;
” And he’s drinking again too!”
The article in the post you linked us to had this caption under the pic of Bush supposedly indulging in spirits.
Nice try, but even your own source makes the exception that puts your crap to rest.
“Of course, the president often drinks non-alcoholic beer; he could easily be drinking a non-alcoholic Pisco Sour in this shot.”
Basically this makes you nothing but a b*tch little rumor monger who cant make a case unless he lies by omission of essential facts/info.
My bad on the popular vote, the numbers were actually 52/46.
6% is not that decisive or big.

November 28th, 2008 at 1:56 pm
So this is where all the republicans come to honor their [edited] ann.
No the reason the Republicans lost the election is cause they cant do anything right as was proven by Bush.
In case you people did not notice, alot of your fellow republicans jumped party lines and voted for Obama so that would tell me its your parties fault you lost this election and no one elses.
November 29th, 2008 at 1:25 am
I’m with Nathan. It’s really hard for an incompetent boob to get credit for anything, so can’t be anything Obama actually did to inspire votes. People can’t be dumb enough to vote for a brick. On the other hand, did anyone see the Zogby poll about how literally stupid the Obama voters were?
Ya know, a generation from now there won’t be anyone around who will admit to voting for the incompetent boob. Kinda like all those Jimmy Carter votes disappeared from memory. Heh.
November 29th, 2008 at 6:04 am
“No the reason the Republicans lost the election is cause they cant do anything right as was proven by Bush.”
I’m a pretty devout conservative who believes that liberals and democrats are incredibly flawed.
Even with that I dont believe that democrats “cant do anything right”
Its that kind of statement that just makes me want to rip off your heads and crap in them so might come up with an intelligent thought.
So, since republicans have won a majority of presidential elections in history does that mean that dems are dumber on a more regular basis ?
What you’re saying basically is that the dems were too stupid to actually realize that by voting against a man who couldnt take the office again if he wanted to they ended up with Obama ?
By the way Nathan, I could give you a list of our presidents accomplishments, but in all fairness I wouldnt expect you to appreciate them.
November 29th, 2008 at 9:40 am
what exactly are his accomplishments outside of some dentafrice flossing and spinning? Our military fought the wars, our tax dollars payed for them, no real legislation comes to mind..I think the tax cuts were probably the more real of his things, but they didn’t help the middle class or lower classes or subclasses at all. Not clear what no child left behind means when things are even more ghetto for a lot of families, the medicare prscription bill is a mess, lots of huge debts run up with balance sheet shreadding. nasa is underfunded and the moon and mars mission planning and space station extremely wasteful. In 8 years bush hasn’t even moved ahead on burying nuclear waste and it sits around in company back yards simmering vats and buckets all over the place. I am just trying to think what are his accomplishments? One I do see is getting the Paki’s to let us go after some al queda in Northwest pakistan but what else?
December 1st, 2008 at 3:13 pm
2 conservative supreme court picks, the abominable prescription drug benefit, huge liberal spending, successfully prosecuting a small war in Iraq.
Most of Bush’s legacy, like all presidents, will be written by future generations. That will all depend on how successful future presidents are at prosecuting the war on terror, and what happens specifically in the middle east in relation to the Iraqi democracy.

Hey micky (#30), thank you so much for continuing the entertainment. Really enjoying it!
“So Laughing.
You’re mocking divisiveness yet you found a story about Anns jaw being wired shut interesting ?”
I’ve not made so much as a hint of a comment on Ann’s story. I’ve certainly not used it as a tool of division. If you had such thoughts, they are self-generated.
“Since you’re such an authority on honest debate maybe you could enlighten us all as to what it is that rings so hollow ?”
The sun is setting on the politics of fear. It still works, but is less effective. Americans are willing to listen to a bit more of a plan. You better have more than bluster to offer. You better show what you are in favor of and not just what you are against. You better have an intelligent plan beyond trying to scare folks into voting for you. I was seeing much of this “truthiness” in the posts here. I can list specifics if you like, but let’s try to be concise for now. A more general example can be taken from the McCain campaign. Scaring folks with the impression that Joe the Plumber would have his taxes raised when that was clearly not the case.
“All your party has done for the last two years is spew divisive crap about the right and now that you have your clown on stage you’re all of a sudden the party of ethical discourse inviting us all to be a part of the second coming.”
In that two-year time period, when the most folks were watching, the standard bearer of my party was Barack Obama. His primary tactic was to tie McCain to the current President. That’s not divisive unless you consider comparing one high ranking Republican to another to be divisive.
“At least on my part, I dont pretend to be anything other than divisve when faced with morons like you who went and elected what is quite possibly the most unqualified man ever simply out of hate for a man who wont be president again no matter what.”
Well that’s it right there. You essentially said it yourself. You prefer to divide America and berate fellow Americans just because their opinions differ with yours. Also, if you think that is the only reason why so many people voted for Obama, you haven’t done your homework.
“In 2010 and 2012 there will be plenty more divisiveness. But I have a feeling it will be between members of your own party as you beat the crap out of each other trying to figure out who to blame for the party eating itself from the inside out.”
If that is the case, I agree, then Dems should be voted out of office. Obviously I don’t think that will be the case. Both Obama and Pelosi have said they must govern from the center. I believe they will work together to do so because they remember 1994, 2006, and 2008. If they fail to execute and don’t find consensus, there will be very little patience, myself included.
“Guess you have some underlying need to get something off your chest ?
Feel better now ?
Vaporland.
Is that moniker reflective of the commune you live in, all runnin around sniffin each others a$$ess complementing the bouqet ?”
HAHAHAHAHA! What a joke! You accuse me of saying things to make me feel better and then you try to demonize me to make yourself feel better! So transparent. Thanks for the laughs! That last bit of truthiness is the perfect example of your hollow, fear-filled, empty rhetoric. If you must know, I’ve served my country and have owned a small technology biz (employed 14 at peak) and that better reflects where I am coming from.
Figure out a way to talk honestly to Americans, or the GOP will be further punished in 2010 and 2012. But I expect to come back in a few days and see you’ve provided further entertainment. Thanks in advance!
